Pipe Joint

Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pipe joint capable achieving sufficient water shut-off. A pipe joint is characterized by comprising: a guide part provided on a nipple, and arranged to face an inner surface of a pipe body having flexibility; a fastening member with a tapered surface arranged to face an outer peripheral surface of the guide part and have a gradually increasing diameter toward an inserting direction of the pipe body; a sleeve that is movable in a reciprocating manner in the inserting direction of the pipe body and the opposite direction, namely a pipe pullout direction, along the fastening member, and that is elastically deformable in a radial direction to have an increased radius and a reduced radius; and an elastic member arranged to push the sleeve along the taped surface toward the pipe pullout direction, wherein the sleeve has a sleeve protrusion that digs into an outer surface of the pipe body when the radius is reduced, the guide part has a plurality of water shut-off members from the inner side to the outer side in the inserting direction of the pipe body, and the sleeve protrusion is disposed above the water shut-off member on the inner side in the inserting direction of the pipe body when connection of the pipe body has been completed, and is disposed above the water shut-off member on the outer side in the inserting direction of the pipe body when the internal pressure in the pipe body is high.
