Pipe Joint Leak Testing Device
Abstract: The present invention provides a leak-testing device for testing joint such as pipe joints. The leak testing device comprises a shaft mounted on a portable means, a plurality of radial members radially extendable from said shaft, a sealing member having circumferentially open arcuate top, a gasket adapted on the top each sealing member for snugly fitting of the sealing member with the inner-side of the pipeline and a means for admitting test fluid in each sealing member. The sealing member is pivotally mounted on a free end of each radial member to enable sealing member to tilt in required direction thereby compensating localized ovality in the pipeline.
