Pipe Joint, Push Ring For Pipe Joint, Method For Joining Pipes
Abstract: Provided is a pipe joint 1 in which a seal body 26 and a spacer 30 are mounted from the insides of pipes 2, 4, wherein: an insertion port 5 of one pipe 4 is inserted into a socket 3 of the other pipe 2; and an annular accommodation space 25 is formed between the inner circumference of the socket 3 and the outer circumference of the insertion port 5. Inside the accommodation space 25 are accommodated: a seal body 26 for sealing the gap between the socket 3 and the insertion port 5; a push ring 29 which presses the seal body 26 to keep the seal body 26 in a compressed state; and a spacer 30 which maintains the gap between the push ring 29 and the deep end of the socket 3 in the pipe axial direction.
