The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.
Field of the innovation
The present invention is use where a rolling element is need to reduce the friction and noise between rotating part with reasonable life. The present invention is most concerned with Plastic cage (Retainer) for Full Compliment (maximum numbers of balls are used.). This Invention is much useful in bearings, where the plastic cage can hold (retain) the maximum rolling element (balls) as possible.
Background of the Invention
The Bearings are widely used in automotive, textile industries and genral engineering industries. The bearing is most important part in all vehicles, machine and industries. Bearing are widely used in varies type. All types having various components but main components are Outer Race, Inner Race, Rolling element, and Retainer (also known as a Cage or Separator). In the Bearing rolling elements are retain (Hold) by retainer, which is one of the important components in bearing assembly. Retainer holds rolling elements and when the bearing rotate, the rolling element rotate itself and move in its race way. Main important function of the retainer is to maintain symmetrical radial spacing among rolling element. The retainer is made from varies material like Steel, Brass, Plastic etc.
Limitation of current plastic cages is that, they cannot hold as much quantity of rolling elements (steel ball) as possible in track diameter because some space is used by retainer itself. So present normal plastic cage not possible for full compliment or maximum rolling element condition. When required higher load carrying capacity, the without retainer bearing are used. In this case rolling element hold by applying of grease on the raceway of outer race or inner race and put one by one rolling element and fully assembly done. It is time consuming and non productive method. Chances of falling rolling elements is also very high. And it is nearest to in possible or very difficult for automatic assembly line for automotive vehicles manufacturing and machine building industries. In the case of disassemble of bearing mostly rolling element falling down.
Looking to the application and requirement of such kind of cages, it is most important to have maximum rolling element (balls) to get desired output. But In the current invention, which is being used in all function, it is difficult to retain more rolling elements with minimum spacing between them. Hence in the present invention find the solution by making new design of cage, which can hold maximum possible rolling element and give best output of the product.
The innovation, the appropriate cage invention for this application is essential in achieving the desired life and performance of the bearing. And derive manufacturing process for the same
Object of the Invention
It is said that, opportunity of improvement is always be there in problem, so here in the present invention have taken a problem of cage assembly (mentioned as above). Rolling elements are widely use in all industries and they are facing problem, either for capacity or regarding productivity and practicality of ball assembly.
Our main objective is to solve the problems of industries by present invented cage in such a way that can hold maximum possible quantity of steel balls (which is required for getting maximum capacity) with even spacing among them. Apart from above, in the present invention having maximum possible / required quantity of steel balls, so that, in the present invention do not have to use grease applying method. And by this way the present invented cage get good productivity with higher load carrying capacity. Main invention of object are specified as under
The present invented cage makes the line very easy in auto assembly.
1. The fall down of rolling elements is totally removed from present without cage bearing and also avoid limitation of ordinary plastic cage in case of full compliment bearing cage is possible.
2. By replacing the innovative cage against ordinary cage design, load carrying capacity can be maximized.
3. The present invented cage assembly also makes equally spaced among rolling elements to avoiding rubbing of rolling elements and frication.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
It will be convenient to further describe the invention with respect to the accompanying drawings that illustrate possible arrangements of the invention. Other arrangements of the invention are possible, and consequently the particularity of the accompanying drawings is not intended to be limiting of the invention.

Detailed description of the invention
Before explaining the present invention in detail, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited in its application to the details of the construction and arrangement of parts illustrated in the accompanying drawings. The invention is capable of other embodiments, as depicted in different figures as described above and of being practiced or carried out in a variety of ways. It is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology employed herein is for the purpose of description and not of limitation.
As shown in Fig. 1, which has highest capacity for load carrying but at the same time, biggest drawback of this assembly In this case rolling element hold by applying of grease on the raceway of outer race or inner race and put one by one. It is time consuming and non productive method. It was not equally space among rolling elements it may some gap (Show in Drawing) between two rolling element Chances of falling rolling elements is also very high. And it is nearest to impossible or very difficult for automatic assembly line for automotive vehicles manufacturing and machine building industries. In the case of disassemble of bearing mostly rolling element falling down.
As shown in Fig. 2, which is widely in use but here this embodiment has not get maximum load carrying capacity due to less rolling elements. It cannot hold as much quantity of rolling elements (steel ball) as possible in track diameter because of some space are used by retainer itself. So present normal plastic cage is not possible for full compliment or maximum rolling element condition.
As shown in Fig. 3, with this embodiments maximum capacity received because by the present arrangement constructional features increase maximum numbers of rolling elements (ball) and increase the contact area. At the same time cage holds them properly, hence there is no chance for balls to get fallen.
In the Fig. 4 , It is an attempt to show and explain the invented plastic Cage disassembled for Ball bearing, and how it looks before assembly and steps for assembly as well.
See the Fig. 4.3, where very less space between two rolling element which is the significant change with respect to existing cage. It is the complete assembly.
Part-1 is the first portion of cage where in the present invention steel balls put, in other word it holds the steel balls.
Part-2 is a portion which is used to retain steel ball and prevent them to coming or falling out from part 1.
As shown in Fig. 4.3, in the present invention have to mould this cage in two parts. One is working to holds the steel balls and another is to retain them.
In order to assemble the cage, take part-1 of the cage and put steel balls as required. Set the part-2 on top side of part-1 where major area of steel balls is open. Then join them by using ultrasonic welding which normally used for plastic welding.
Apart from ultrasonic welding, the present invention use adhesive also to join both parts of cage, or can keep locking arrangement in part 1 and part 2 them self. This will known as self locking system.
While, the invention has been described with respect to Drawing the given embodiment, it will be appreciated that many variations, modifications and other applications of the invention may be made. However, it is to be expressly understood that such modifications and adaptations are within the scope of the present invention, as set forth in the following claims.
