Abstract: Pneumatic flap locking device comprising of a combination of pneumatic system and a mechanical means. In first phase, a pneumatic pipe line is drawn from a air tank already installed in the dumper to a control for opening and closing operation, valve disposed near the driver seat via a pressure regulator valve. From the control valve, two pneumatic air lines are drawn and connected to a pneumatic cylinder which is fixed in position under carrier body. The control valve operate the pneumatic cylinder by means of pneumatic! air pressure. The piston rod head of pneumatic cylinder is attached to a hinge of first end of a connecting member and the second end of the connecting member is attached with the central shaft disposed under the carrier body. The opening and closing of pneumatic cylinder piston rotates the central shaft in clockwise and anti-clockwise direction. In the second phase, both ends of the central shaft Is connected to a first end of a connecting member which Is parral to first connecting member of the central shaft. So when central shaft rotates, the second connecting member on both slides also rotate. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Pneumatic flap locking device comprising of a combination of pneumatic system and a mechanical means.
The control valve operate the pneumatic cylinder by means of pneumatic air pressure.
So when central shaft rotates, the second connecting member on both sides also rotate. The second end of the second connecting members at both sides are

DETAILS DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
As shown In fig 1,the present Invention help a driven of the dumper to
open or close the dallah flap door of the dumper by operating a hand lever
(1). For opening, the hand lever (1) of control valve (4) have to rotate
anti-clockwise direction (3) (2) and for closing the hand lever (1) have to
rotate in clockwise direction (2). The hand lever (1) is connected to a
control valve (4) which controls the pneumatic air, the inlet pneumatic air
of the control valve is supplied from a air tank (5) via a on line pressure
regulator (6) and two outlet pneumatic air pipe (7,8) of the control valve
(4) are connected to a two point of a pneumatic cylinder (9). The opening
and losing of the pneumatic cylinder (9) are regulated by the control valve
(1). The piston rod head (10) of the pneumatic cylinder (9) is hinged with
a first end of a central connecting member (11) (fig-2,3) and the second
end of a central connecting member (11) is rightly fixed with central shaft
(12) which supported by a plurality of bearings (13, 14, 15, 16) fastened
with body structure of the dumper and disposed under carrier body (26).
Two identical connecting members (17,17) parallel to central connecting
member, (11) are also fastened at both end (18,19) of the central shaft
(12). The second end of the second connecting member, (17,17) are
hinged with a turn buckle tie-rods (20,20) at both sides. The second end of
the turn buckle (20,20) are hinged with a pull rod (21) which in turn rightly
6
fixed with a oblique hockey stick shaped member (22). One end (32) of oblique hockey stick shaped member (22) is hinged with side wall of dumper and he second end of the oblique hockey stick shaped member provided with a groove which passes over an extended pln (24) of flap door and locked the flap door (25). For locking the flap door, the driven rotates the hand lever (1) of control valve (4) clockwise (2) which allows the pneumatic air to pass to the cylinder (9) through air pipes (7,8). The pneumatic air pushes the cylinder piston forward and piston rod head pushes the connecting member (11) in forward direction which in turn rotates central shaft (12) clockwise, and second connecting member (17,17) on both sides also rotates clockwise direction and pushes the turn buckle tie-rod (20) In forward direction which in turn pushes the oblique hockey stick shaped member (22) to place the groove (23) on the hinge pin (24) of flap (24) for hooking and locked (fig-2).
For opening the flap door, the driver rotates the hand lever (1) of control valve (4) in anti-clockwise (3) which release the air pressure and allows the pneumatic cylinder to push backward direction which In turn allows to rotate the central shaft (12) in anti-clockwise direction via a connecting member (11). The side connecting members (17,17) on both sides also rotates anti-clockwise direction along with shaft (12) which in turn pull the turn buckle (20) on both sides and allows the oblique hockey stick shaped
7
member groove (23) to come out from the extended pln (24) of the flap door (25) (fig-3).
