Specification

Field of Invention
[001] Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a
luminaire and particularly to a portable light fixture.
Description of Related Art
[002] Installation of lights on a wall and/or a surface is a tedious task as
fixing the lights on the wall and/or the surface is done firstly by drilling
holes in the wall for fixing a light frame of the light followed by installing the
bulb in the holder. The existing solutions of fastening of the light frame
onto the required places require time and manual efforts. Further, the
process of the installation is difficult at some surfaces, like the interior of a
car, under a table, and alike.
[003] The portable handheld models of light such as torch and/or mobile
light are generally used to increase a visibility of the objects in the
darkness. The torch and/or the mobile light are further helpful in an
emergency while traveling at night. In such cases, it might get difficult to
hold the torch and/or the mobile and work at the same time while hands
are already engaged.
[004] Apart from this, there are handheld emergency lights known in the
prior art which are portable to be placed on a horizontal surface; however,
these lights cannot be placed on a vertical wall and/or door-like surfaces.
Some handheld emergency lights comprise an arrangement to be hanged
on a nail or alike, however, these lights usually fail to get stabilized on the
surfaces such as an interior and/or an exterior of a vehicle, doors,
windows, and alike.
[005] Furthermore, many people in villages and/or in town are used to
travel at night with cycles and/or rickshaws. These vehicles usually do not
Page 3 of 19
have any light. It becomes very difficult for people to travel with such a
vehicle especially when it is dark and/or a foggy weather. Without the
proper light, a chance of an accident also increases.
[006] There is thus a need for an improved light fixture which can address
the limitations of the prior art in a more efficient manner.
SUMMARY

[0013]Next, embodiments of the present application provide a portable
light fixture which can be adapted as an emergency light at home and/or
offices during a power cut.
[0014]Next, embodiments of the present application provide a portable
light fixture which is mountable on a vehicle such as a cycle, a tricycle
and/or a rickshaw to aid riders of such vehicles.
[0015]Next, embodiments of the present application provide a portable
light fixture which can be adapted as a hand-free torch by mounting it on a
window and/or door while searching for an object and/or a place in the
dark.
[0016]Next, embodiments of the present application provide a portable
light fixture that is economical in cost to manufactures.
