Position/Orientation Estimation Device, Position/Orientation Estimation Method, And Program
Abstract: A position/orientation estimation device (101) has: a database reading unit (15) for reading three-dimensional map data from a database; a frame selection unit (16) that performs processing for selecting, from among frames of images captured from a plurality of different viewpoints, a frame used to calculate position/orientation; a relative position/orientation acquisition unit (17) that performs processing for acquiring a plurality of relative positions/orientations for a plurality of frames selected by the frame selection unit; an absolute position/orientation calculation unit (18) that performs processing for acquiring a plurality of absolute positions/orientations for the plurality of frames selected by the frame selection unit; and an absolute position/orientation integration unit (19) for acquiring a finale absolute positions/orientation by integrating the relative position/orientations acquired by the relative position/orientation acquisition unit (17) and the absolute positions/orientations acquired by the absolute position/orientation calculation unit (18).
