Positive Electrode Active Material, Positive Electrode Including Same, And Lithium Secondary Battery

Abstract: The present invention pertains to: a positive electrode active material including a lithium complex metal oxide containing nickel, cobalt, manganese, and aluminum; a positive electrode including same; and a lithium secondary battery. The positive electrode active material contains 85-97 mol% of nickel and 2-5 mol% of cobalt on the basis of the total number of moles of metals other than lithium and satisfies expression (1) below. Expression (1): 0.25 = I550/I700 = 0.4. In expression (1), I700 and I550 are the maximum peak intensity values in the 600-800 ppm region and the 450-650 ppm region, respectively, as analyzed by peak deconvolution of 1D NMR center band spectrum extracted from 2D 7Li Magic Angle Turning Phase Adjusted Spinning Sideband (MATPASS) NMR spectrum of the positive electrode active material.
