Abstract: The present invention relates to: positive electrode active material powder for a lithium secondary battery, which comprises a lithium composite transition metal oxide in the form of a single particle consisting of one nodule or a pseudo-single particle, which is a composite of 30 nodules or less, and satisfies expression 1; a positive electrode comprising same; and a lithium secondary battery. [Expression 1] 0.5 = Dmean × dpress / D50 = 3 wherein the Dmean refers to an average particle diameter of the nodules as measured by electron back scatter diffraction (EBSD), the dpress refers to a press density measured after 5 g of the positive electrode active material powder is added into a circular mold having a diameter of 2 cm, and then pressed with 2,000 kgf, and the D50 is a value in 50% cumulative volume distribution of the positive electrode active material powder.
