Abstract: The present invention pertains to a positive electrode and a battery including same. More specifically, the present invention pertains to a positive electrode and a battery including same, wherein the positive electrode includes a metal foil and a positive electrode active material layer coated on the metal foil, and the upper and lower ends of the positive electrode are coated with a binder. According to the present invention, by inserting a resin layer having a predetermined thickness at a predetermined position between the positive electrode active material layers, excellent stability is achieved without compromising battery performance even in the case of an abnormally large current flow, thus having the effect of providing a positive electrode enabling both high energy density and high electrode loading, and a battery including same.
