Abstract: A pouch-type battery case according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a barrier layer having a metallic material; an inner polymer layer which is positioned on the inside of the barrier layer and which has a first polymer material; an outer polymer layer which is positioned on the outside of the barrier layer and which has a second polymer material; a fire-extinguishing coating layer which is positioned on one side of the barrier layer and which has a plurality of capsules containing a fire-extinguishing agent; and a protective layer positioned more inside than the fire-extinguishing coating layer.
