"Power Converter And Cooling Method Of Power Conversion Unit"
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a power converter which can hold down the number of fans, in a power conversion panel in which a plurality of power conversion units are stored, and can secure a necessary wind amount even in the unit which is away from the fan and tends to come short of the wind amount. In a power converter in which a plurality of power conversion units having different wind path resistances or amounts of heat generation are stored in parallel in a casing surface, the power converter has a fan which is provided in a casing of the power converter, sucks an air into an inner portion of the casing via an air intake port provided in each of the power conversion units, and discharges the air to an outer portion of the casing, and a ventilation duct which ventilates the air passing through the power conversion units to the outer portion of the casing, and a bypassed wind path is provided by installing a fan which discharges the air to the outer portion in a closed chamber which is adjacent to the ventilation duct, and setting a ventilation hole between the ventilation duct and the closed chamber.
