Abstract: ABSTRACT POWER SOURCE SELECTION AND CONTROL IN AN APPARATUS This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for selectively utilizing wired power or wireless power in an apparatus. The apparatus may include a wired power circuit associated with the wired power and a wireless power circuit configured to receive wireless power from a wireless power transmitter. The apparatus may include a power source switch configured to selectively couple a load to the wired power circuit or the wireless power circuit. A controller may control the power source switch based on availability of the wired power or the wireless power. In some implementations, the load includes a heating element and a temperature switch. The controller also may control a wireless power transfer state of the wireless power transmitter based on a status of the temperature switch
