Pregenerated Configurable Multi Dimensional Code Stickers

Abstract: The present invention proposes a pregenerated multi-dimensional barcode sticker that allows for post-configuration of a user-defined action command. The generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker comprises a multi-dimensional barcode configurator and plurality of multi-dimensional barcode stickers. The system includes a dynamic capturing means to scan the multi-dimensional barcode configurator and to configure an action command to the remote multi-dimensional barcode. A communication module is organized to manage the information pertinent to the remote multi-dimensional barcode sticker through application program interface. Further, the system allows to exchange customized information through the pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers.

Specification

Claims:1. A pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers comprising:
a generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker includes a multi-dimensional barcode configurator and plurality of remote multi-dimensional barcodes;
a dynamic capturing means to scan the multi-dimensional barcode configurator and to configure atleast one action command;
a communication module to manage information of the generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker through application program interface;
wherein the dynamic capturing means along with the communication module allows to configure atleast one action command through the multi-dimensional barcode configurator.

2. The pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers as claimed in claim 1, wherein the generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker may refer to a two-dimensional barcode sticker, Quick Response (QR) code and the like.

The pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers as claimed in claim 1, wherein the multi-dimensional barcode configurator present on one side of the generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker, and the plurality of remote multi-dimensional barcode stickers are on other side of the multi-dimensional barcode configurator.

4. The pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers as claimed in claim 1, wherein a single multi-dimensional barcode configurator can be assigned to plurality of remote multi-dimensional barcodes.

5. The pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers as claimed in claim 1, wherein the communication module authorizes the multi-dimensional barcode configurator, validates the atleast one action command and stores the atleast one action command in the cloud.

6. The pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers as claimed in claim 1, wherein the dynamic capturing means may comprise cellular or mobile phones, tablets, notebooks, PDAs and the like.

7. A method of pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers comprising:
selecting a generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker that includes a multi-dimensional barcode configurator and plurality of remote multi-dimensional barcodes;
scanning the multi-dimensional barcode configurator by a dynamic capturing means;
receiving an authorization response for the multi-dimensional barcode configurator through application program interface;
configuring atleast one action command by the dynamic capturing means through the multi-dimensional barcode configurator;
receiving a validation response for the configured atleast one action command through application program interface;
storing the atleast one action command in the cloud upon the validation; and
wherein the method allows to perform the configured action command.

8. An operating method of pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers comprising:
scanning a remote multi-dimensional barcode by the dynamic capturing means;
executing atleast one action command of the scanned remote multi-dimensional barcode;
storing the atleast one action command executed by the dynamic capturing means in a cloud.

9. A method of customized information exchange through pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers comprising:
selecting a generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker that includes a multi-dimensional barcode configurator and plurality of remote multi-dimensional barcode;
scanning the multi-dimensional barcode configurator by atleast one host dynamic capturing means;
receiving an authorization response for the multi-dimensional barcode configurator;
configuring atleast one action command by the atleast one host dynamic capturing means;
receiving a validation response for the configured atleast one action command;
storing the atleast one action command in the cloud;
scanning the remote multi-dimensional barcode by atleast one recipient dynamic capturing means;
executing the atleast one action command of the scanned multi-dimensional barcode;
requesting the atleast one action command configured;
responding to the atleast one action command by the atleast one recipient dynamic capturing means;
storing the action performed by the atleast one recipient dynamic capturing means;
scanning the remote multi-dimensional barcode by the atleast one host dynamic capturing means;
receiving the responded information by the atleast one host dynamic capturing means;
wherein the method allows the customized information exchange between the host dynamic capturing means and the recipient dynamic capturing means through generated the plurality of remote multi-dimensional barcode sticker.
, Description:Field of Invention:

[0001] The present invention relates to a system and method of a pregenerated multi-dimensional barcode stickers, and in specific to post-configure the pregenerated multidimensional barcode stickers by configuring a user defined action command.

Background of the invention:

[0002] In general, two-dimensional barcodes comprises matrix barcodes, Quick response (QR) codes and thereof which store information in two dimensions. Each QR code includes position, alignment, and timing information which is required by a QR code reader to read the information stored in the QR code. Scanning of the QR code through a mobile phone allows for the access of the information instantly. The QR code mainly consists of black and white modules, and characterized by its fault tolerance since error can be corrected to restore the intended information. As a result, the reliability of QR code is promoted greatly. With the popularity of network media and mobile phones, people acquainted on obtaining the desired information through mobile phones.

[0003] Nowadays, QR code is applied to the transmission of advertising media; a user can align the mobile phone camera to the QR code to conveniently obtain the link to the website, such that the hassle of manual input is avoided. In addition, by embedding web addresses, the QR code can be linked to various websites such as audio-visual websites and advertisement pages, or can store information such as product details, addresses, phone numbers, personal name cards and identifications, and so on.

[0004] In reference US9367860B2, a two-dimensional barcode or QR generation system is described. The system receives user data, processes and generates 2D barcode data. The generated 2D barcode is then uploaded, analyzed and displayed on the user mobile device. However, the prior art do not provide facility to users to execute an action in the blank pre-generated QR code label to perform an action.

[0005] However, the prior art do not provide the facility to users to execute an action in the pregenerated QR code or two-dimensional sticker. The user is not allowed to configure a user-defined action to the blank QR code sticker to execute an action. The conventional stickers also do not provide for the information exchange using QR code stickers.

[0006] Thus, there is a need to configure a pregenerated multi-dimensional barcode stickers based on user-defined action commands, so that user can set an action or command to the pregenerated multi-dimensional barcode stickers. There is a need to provide multiple number of user-defined action commands to the pregenerated multi-dimensional barcode sticker. Further, there is a need to provide the ability of information exchange using multi-dimensional barcode stickers.

Objectives of the invention:

[0007] An objective of the invention is to provide a pregenerated multi-dimensional barcode stickers to post-configure the action command.

[0008] The other objective of the invention is to post-configure multiple user-defined action commands to the generated multi-dimensional barcode stickers.

[0009] The other objective of the invention is to provide a customized information exchange between the host dynamic capturing means and the recipient dynamic capturing means.

[0010] Another objective of the present invention is to have a configurator multi-dimensional barcode sticker to assign actions to plurality of remote multi-dimensional barcode stickers.

[0011] Further another objective of the present invention is that multiple actions are assigned to multiple remote multi-dimensional barcode stickers using configurator multi-dimensional barcode sticker.

Summary of the Invention:

[0013] The invention proposes a pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers. The following presents a simplified summary in order to provide a basic understanding of some aspects of the claimed subject matter. This summary is not an extensive overview. It is not intended to identify key/critical elements or to delineate the scope of the claimed subject matter. Its sole purpose is to present some concepts in a simplified form as a prelude to the more detailed description that is presented later.

[0014] According to an aspect of the invention, a pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers comprises a generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker which includes a multi-dimensional barcode configurator and plurality of remote multi-dimensional barcodes. The multi-dimensional barcode configurator is present on a means one side of the generated multi-dimensional barcode stickers means and plurality of remote multi-dimensional barcodes are present on other side of the means. Further, a single multi-dimensional barcode configurator can be assigned to a plurality of multi-dimensional barcodes. The means where the multi-dimensional barcode stickers are present can be a sheet or book or any other means which can hold plurality of multi-dimensional barcode stickers

[0015] A dynamic capturing means is used to scan the multi-dimensional barcode configurator and thereby to configure atleast one action command. A communication module is used to manage information of the generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker through application program interface. The communication module authorizes through multi-dimensional barcode configurator, validates the atleast one action command and stores the atleast one action command in the cloud. Therefore, the dynamic capturing means along with the communication module is allowed to configure atleast one action command through the multi-dimensional barcode configurator.

[0017] According to other aspect of the invention, a method of pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers comprises, selecting the generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker includes a multi-dimensional barcode configurator and plurality of remote multi-dimensional barcode stickers. The multi-dimensional barcode configurator is scanned by a dynamic capturing means, atleast one remote multi-dimensional barcode sticker is selected and an authorization response is received through the multi-dimensional barcode configurator through application program interface. Then atleast one action command is configured by the dynamic capturing means through the multi-dimensional barcode configurator to the selected multi-dimensional barcode sticker and a validation response is received for the configured atleast one action command through application program interface. Atleast one action command is stored in the cloud upon validation. Thus, the method allows to perform the configured action command.

[0018] According to another aspect of the invention, an operating method of the pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers comprises scanning a remote multi-dimensional barcode by the dynamic capturing means and executing atleast one action command of the scanned multi-dimensional barcode. Then the atleast one action command configured by the dynamic capturing means is performed. Thus, the method allows to execute the atleast one action command which is configured for the remote multi-dimensional barcode.

[0019] According to another aspect of the invention, a method of customized information exchange through pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers comprises selecting a generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker which includes a multi-dimensional barcode configurator and plurality of remote multi-dimensional barcode, and scanning the multi-dimensional barcode configurator present on the generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker by atleast one host dynamic capturing means. Then an authorization response is received through the multi-dimensional barcode configurator to select atleast one of the plurality of remote multi-dimensional barcode stickers and the selected multi-dimensional barcode sticker is authorized. Atleast one action command is configured by the atleast one host dynamic capturing means and a validation response is received for the configured atleast one action command and further the atleast one action command is stored in the cloud.

[0020] The method continues with the scanning of the remote multi-dimensional barcode by atleast one recipient dynamic capturing means where the atleast one action command of the scanned multi-dimensional barcode is executed and performed. Further, responding to the atleast one action command is carried out by the atleast one recipient dynamic capturing means. The method then continues by the scanning of the remote multi-dimensional barcode by the atleast one host dynamic capturing means and receiving the responded information by the atleast one host dynamic capturing means. Thus, the method allows a customized information exchange between the host dynamic capturing means and the recipient dynamic capturing means through generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker.

Detailed description of Drawings:

[0027] An exemplary embodiment of the present invention will be described in reference to the accompanying drawings. Wherever possible, same or similar reference numerals are used in the drawings and the description to refer to the same or like parts or steps.

[0028] Fig. 1 illustrates a pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code stickers system 100 which comprises a generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker 101, a dynamic capturing means 102, an Application Program Interface (API) 103, a network 104 and a cloud 105. The generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker 101 is a pre-printed sticker which is printed without configuring an action command. The generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker 101 further comprises a multi-dimensional barcode configurator 101a and a multi-dimensional barcode 101b. The multi-dimensional barcode configurator 101a is present on means like sheet on rear side of the generated remote multi-dimensional barcode stickers 101 present on the sheet like means. A single multi-dimensional barcode configurator 101a can be assigned to a plurality of multi-dimensional barcodes.

[0029] The dynamic capturing means 102 configures atleast one action command to the multi-dimensional barcode configurator 101a through Application Program Interface (API) 103 to perform an action. The dynamic capturing means 102 may comprise cellular or mobile phones, tablets, notebooks, PDAs and the like. The cloud 105 is connected to the dynamic capturing means 102 through network 104. The information pertinent to the generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker 101 is stored in the cloud 105.

[0030] Fig. 2 illustrates a pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional code sticker system 200 which comprises a generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker 201, a dynamic capturing means 202 and a communication module 203. The dynamic capturing means 202 is organized to scan the multi-dimensional barcode configurator and to configure atleast one action command.

As shown in operational block 301, the method includes selecting a generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker which is a pre-printed sticker generated without configuring the action command. At operational block 302, scanning of the multi-dimensional barcode configurator is carried out using the dynamic capturing means. After completion of the multi-dimensional barcode configurator scanning, the dynamic capturing means receives an authorization response through the multi-dimensional barcode configurator through the application program interface as shown in operational block 303. Where authorization step includes prompting of selecting atleast one of the remote multi-dimensional barcode sticker from the sheet of multi-dimensional barcode stickers and selecting any of the multi-dimensional barcode sticker and then authorizing the selected sticker. Once the authorization response is received, atleast one action is configured using the dynamic capturing means and through the multi-dimensional barcode configurator as shown in operational block 304 to the selected remote multi-dimensional barcode sticker. At operational block 305, a validation response is received through the application program interface for the atleast one action command configured. After receiving the validation response, the atleast one action command which is validated is stored in the cloud as shown in operational block 306.

[0033] According to an embodiment of the present invention, the generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker can be a two-dimensional barcode sticker, a Quick Response (QR) code sticker and the like.

[0034] In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, fig. 4 illustrates a flowchart showing a process flow of executing the action command configured to the generated QR code sticker. At step 401, a user scans the generated QR code sticker using a mobile phone. At step 402, the scanned QR code sticker is verified for the presence of atleast one action command. If the action command is existed within the QR code sticker, the process continues to execute the action command at step 403. Then at step 404, the executed action command is accomplished at the user end. If the action command is not existed within the QR code sticker, the process displays a blank media at step 405.

[0035] In other exemplary embodiment of the present invention, fig. 5 is an operational block diagram illustrating a method of customized information exchange through generated QR code stickers 500. As shown in operational block 501, the method includes selecting a generated QR code sticker which is a pre-printed sticker. At operational block 502, scanning of the QR code configurator is carried out using the host mobile phone. After completion of the QR code configurator scanning, the host mobile phone receives an authorization response for the QR code configurator as shown in operational block 503, where authorization step includes selecting one of the remote multi-dimensional barcode sticker from plurality of remote multi-dimensional barcode stickers on th sheet and the selected remote multi-dimensional barcode stickers is authorized for configuring any action. Once the authorization response is received, atleast one action command is configured using the host mobile phone to the QR code configurator as shown in operational block 504. At operational block 505, a validation response is received for the atleast one action command which is configured. After receiving the validation response, the atleast one action command which is validated is stored in the cloud as shown in operational block 506.

[0036] At operational block 507, scanning of the QR code is carried out using the recipient mobile phone. At operational block 508, the atleast one action command of the scanned QR code is executed and performed. At operational block 509, the atleast one recipient mobile phone responds to the atleast one action command by inputting the customized information. At operational block 511, the responded information inputted by the atleast one recipient mobile phone is received by the atleast one host mobile phone.

[0037] The invention is advantageous as the pre-printed multi-dimensional barcode sticker which allows the user to input multiple number of action commands providing more space to set the action commands. The generated multi-dimensional barcode sticker allows to input the action command based on user convenience.

[0038] In another aspect of the invention, as described in the above exemplary embodiment, the user is not limited to an individual, but also may refer to a publisher, a content executing office and the like. The proposed pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional barcode sticker can be used in different applications such as publisher office, stationary, customer service and the like. The invented pre-printed multi-dimensional barcode sticker can be editable where revised action commands can be configured.

[0039] Although the inventive description considered cloud as an example for the purpose of explanation, other centralized approach of storing and accessing the information can be used. Further, an authentication can be provided for the dynamic capturing means to avoid unauthorized accessing of the pregenerated configurable multi-dimensional barcode sticker.

[0040] Further the information exchange using multi-dimensional barcode stickers is protected using different techniques like using login credentials, identification number of host dynamic capturing means, any one multi-dimensional barcode sticker exclusive only for sharing information with host or publisher kept confidential and any other means. Any one of the disclosed techniques or combination of the disclosed techniques is used as per the priority of the action command or commands configured in multi-dimensional barcode sticker/s.

[0041] Further the number of remote multi-dimensional barcode stickers can be increased to any number as per requirement for one configurating multi-dimensional barcode sticker.
