Abstract: A prepared slide (11F) according to this disclosure is provided with: an image sensor (B01) having a surface that includes an imaging surface; a package (12F) having electrical connection with the image sensor (B01); and a transparent plate (31F) facing the surface of the image sensor via an encapsulating medium. The surface of the transparent plate (31F) has formed thereon a first groove (41b) and a second groove (41c) and the image sensor (B01) is disposed between the first groove (41b) and the second groove (41c).
