Abstract: ABSTRACT “A VALVE OF A FUEL PUMP CONFIGURED TO MAINTAIN FUEL PRESSURE IN THE FUEL PUMP” A present disclosure relates a valve (10) of a fuel pump is disclosed. The valve (10) is configured to maintain fuel pressure in the fuel pump. The housing comprises a fluid region (FD) to flow of fuel inside the housing. The guiding member (70) is positioned in the fluid region of the housing. The plunger (50) is movably placed in the fluid region of the housing. The plunger is configured to move between a closed position to an open position. The biasing member (60) is positioned between the guiding member and the plunger to bias the plunger at the closed position. The plunger, the biasing member and the housing are coaxial with one another. The plunger defines a plurality of flange portions (52) extending radially to ensure movement of the plunger in a linear direction.
