Specification

The present disclosure relates to the field of fluid filling apparatus
and more particularly the present disclosure relates to a device for accurately filling a pressurized fluid into a container.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in
understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the
information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed
invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] Currently many industries around the globe use fluid present under
pressure inside tank/container. The pressurized fluid requires careful handling in every step. During the filling of fluid, it is observed that the fluid is filled beyond/under the limit of the tank/container. This happens in few cases for reasons like the operator doesn't know how much fluid should be filled inside. Also, sometimes the operator is aware of the filling amount but was careless while filling the fluid hence extra pressure is developed inside the tank. This can happen other way around too. Sometimes due to above discussed reasons pressure is kept lower than the required value. So, in industries such as Switchgear it will cause a serious issue of electrical insulation failure. On the other hand, if the pressure is higher than the required value then there may be an occurrence of mechanical damage to the panel. In both the cases of failure human safety will be compromised. So, to eliminate human error i.e.; ignorance & lack of knowledge an apparatus is developed.
[0004] There is, therefore, a need of an improved pressurized fluid filling
apparatus that is free from above discussed problems.

the passage is open and when the flow control valve is at the second position the
flow the passage is blocked. A bellow operatively configured with the container
and the control valve, and configured to move between a third position and a
fourth position. When a pressure inside the container reaches a pre-defined value,
the bellow inflates from the third position to the fourth position to stop further
filling of the pressurized fluid into the container.
[0025] In an embodiment, the flow control valve can be operatively
configured with the bellow through a limit switch electrically configured with an
actuator.
[0026] In an embodiment, the actuator can be operatively configured with

the container.
[0031] FIG. 1A-1B illustrates an exemplary representation of the
pressurized fluid filling apparatus, in an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0032] FIG. 2A-2B illustrates an exemplary representation of
configuration of the pressurized fluid filling apparatus with a source and a
container to be filled with the pressurized fluid, in an embodiment of the present
disclosure.

[0033] As illustrated, a pressurized fluid filling device 100 can includes an
inlet 102 that can be adapted to be configured with a pressurized fluid source 200. An outlet 104 can be operatively configured with the inlet through a passage 106. The outlet 104 can be adapted to be configured with a container 300 to be filled with the pressurized fluid. A fluid control mechanism can be configured to facilitate a controlled filling of the pressurized fluid, through the passage into the container. The fluid control mechanism includes a flow control valve 108 configured inside the passage 106 and can be configured to switch between a first position and a second position. A bellow 110 operatively configured with the container 300 and the flow control valve 108, and can be configured to move between a third position and a fourth position. The pressurized fluid can include but not limited to sulphur hexafluoride SF6. The container can include but not limited to a ring main unit (RMU).
[0034] The flow control valve 108 can be operatively configured with the
bellow 110 through a limit switch 112 that can be electrically configured with an
actuator 114. The actuator 114 can be operatively configured with the flow
control valve 108 to switch the flow control valve between the first position and
the second position. When the flow control valve is in the first position the
passage is open and when the flow control valve is at the second position the flow
the passage is blocked. When a pressure inside the container 300 reaches a pre¬
defined value, the bellow 110 can inflate from the third position to the fourth
position to stop further filling of the pressurized fluid into the container.
[0035] In an embodiment, when the bellow inflates to the fourth position,
the limit switch 112 can be pressed, by the bellow 110, facilitating actuation of the actuator 114 for switching the flow control valve 108 to the second position. The flow control valve 108 can be configured to stay at the second position till the outlet 104 of the fluid filling device 100 is configured with the container 300. The pre-defined pressure inside the container can be referred to a pressure level inside the container 300 corresponding to a maximum level till which the container needs to be filled with the pressurized fluid. The bellow 110 can be disposed in a guide way such that the switching or inflation of the bellow 110 to the second

position can facilitate pressing the limit switch 112. The limt switch 12 can be couped with nofication device such as an alarm. The fluid filling device may be coupled with the pressure fluid source through an interlock. The interlock may allow cutting off the fluid supply into the container from the pressure fluid source and then the fluid filling device is decoupled from the container. A selection of the bellow 110 can be done based on the fluid pressure.
[0036] Moreover, in interpreting the specification, all terms should be
