Note that the second branch channel 164, not the ink 100 flows down, the filter 169, new condition, i.e., a state where foreign matter is not accumulated in the second branch passage 164, ink 100 is filled.
[0080]
Ink 100 flowing down the first branch passage 163, the foreign matter is captured by the filter 168 when passing through the filter 168. Thus, it is possible to prevent when the ink 100 is discharged from the nozzle 131 shown in FIG. 1, or is discharged by foreign matter, from or cause clogging of the nozzle 131.
[0081]
And filter 168 captures the foreign matter, the foreign matter is accumulated in the filter 168, which may clog the filter 168 is generated. In the printer 1 performs the pressure at which test manometer 17 has been detected, based on the pressure detection pressure gauge 18 detects a first branch channel 163 to switch between the second branch channel 164. As a result, it is possible to know exactly when to replace the filter 168 and filter 169.
[0082]
In the printer 1 detects clogging of the filter 168, by actuating the valve 166 and the valve 167 is switched so that the ink 100 passes through the second branch passage 164. This makes it possible to ink 100 passes through the filter 169 of the new, it can be continued entrapment of foreign object. Thus, in the printer 1, without stopping the supply of ink 100 from the reservoir 11 to the nozzle 131, it is possible to perform switching operation of switching from the filter 168 clogged with a new filter 169. Therefore, even if the clogging occurs in the filter 168 during printing can be prevented by the switching operation, from interrupting the printing. Therefore, it is possible that the printing efficiency be prevented.
[0083]
By the printing apparatus 1, after the switching operation is performed, the operator performs the replacement work of exchanging filter 168 clogged with a new filter 168a. First, as shown in Figure 5 in an arrow A, disengaging the first branch passage 163 from the valve 166 and valve 167. At this time, the operator can discharge the ink 100 remaining in the first branch flow channel 163.
[0084]
Then, as shown in FIG. 6 the arrow B, to disengage the filter 168, as shown in FIG arrow C, and fitted with a new filter 168a. Then, as shown in arrow in FIG. 8 D, in a state where the filter 168a is attached, is attached to the first branch passage 163 again valve 166, 167.
[0085]
Thus, in the printer 1, the filter 168 is detachable from the first branch channel 163, filter 169 is detachable from the second branch channel 164. This makes it possible to filter 168 and filter 169 respectively replace the filter new.
[0086]
Also in the printing apparatus 1, the first branch passage 163 is capable each filter 168 detachably, the second branch passage 164 can be each filter 169 detachably. Thus, the replacement work can be performed in a state of being disengaged first branch flow channel 163 or the second branch channel 164. Therefore, it is possible to carry out the exchange work easily.
[0087]
Here, as shown in FIG. 1, the printing device 1 includes a movable portion 200. Movable unit 200, a printing unit 13, and a portion of the downstream channel 162, a movable part when printing. In the printer 1, as shown in FIG. 1, a filter 168, a filter 169, a first branch channel 163 and a second branch channel 164, a position off from the movable portion 200, i.e., upstream of the movable portion 200 It is located in. Thus, filter 168, filter 169, a first branch channel 163 and a second branch channel 164, regardless of the movement and stop of the movable portion 200, the movement is restricted. Thus, even also in press stopped even during printing, it is possible to perform the replacement work. That is, regardless of the operation and stopping of the printing apparatus 1, with the first branch passage 163 and the second branch passage 164 is stopped, it is possible to perform the replacement work of the filter 168 and filter 169.
[0088]
In the printer 1, the first branch passage 163 is switched to the second branch channel 164, if done during printing can be prevented to stop printing for the replacement. Therefore, it is possible that the printing efficiency be prevented.
[0089]
It is to be noted that the "printing Stop", of course, when you have not been printed, and when you are stopped at a turning point in the reciprocating movement of the printing unit 13, when stopped in the middle of the intermittent feeding, etc., printing including when the print unit 13 even during has stopped.
[0090]
Further, for example, the ink 100, if the solid component by being swung were those prone to settle shows the movable unit 200, the tendency of foreign matter is likely to occur. In this case, although not shown, a filter 168, a filter 169, a first branch channel 163 and the second branch passage 164 is preferably included in the movable portion 200. That is, the filter 168, a filter 169, a first branch channel 163 and the second branch passage 164 is preferably configured to move together with the movable section 200. Thus, foreign matter generated by the movable portion 200 can be immediately captured by the filter 168 or filter 169.
[0091]
Further, filter 168, filter 169, a first branch channel 163 and a second branch channel 164, if a configuration is included in the movable portion 200, the replacement, when the movable portion 200 is stopped preferably carried out. Thus, in a state where the first branch passage 163 and the second branch passage 164 is stopped, it is possible to easily replace the filter 168 and filter 169.
[0092]
The electromagnetic valve 19 is relatively liable become hot, when using the easy ink solid component precipitated at high temperatures, the tendency of foreign matter by electromagnetic valve 19 occurs. Therefore, first branch channel 163 and a second branch channel 164, the solenoid valve 19, may be provided between the sub-reservoir 165. Thus, foreign matter generated by the electromagnetic valve 19 with a filter 168 or filter 169 can immediately be captured.
[0093]
Next, the control operation of the printing apparatus 1, i.e., the print method of the present invention will be described with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG. Also in the following description, similarly to the above, the ink 100, the upstream channel 161, through the first branch passage 163 and the downstream channel 162, will be described when it is supplied to the nozzle 131 (see Figure 3).
[0094]
First, in step S101, to start printing (printing process).
Then, in step S102, the detected pressure P1 on the upstream side of the filter 168, and a pressure P2 on the downstream side. Then, in step S102, the pressure difference ΔP between the pressures P1 and P2 determines whether or less or not than the threshold value P0.
[0095]
In step S103, when it is determined that [Delta] P ≧ P0, regarded as clogged the filter 168, in step S104, performs a switching operation (switching step). That is, by switching the valve 166 and valve 167, the ink 100 is switched to be supplied to the nozzle 131 passes through the second branch passage 164 (see FIG. 4). As a result, despite the clogging has occurred in the filter 168, it is possible to continue printing.
[0096]
Then, in step S105, the notification to the effect that clogging occurs in the filter 168. Thus, as described above, the operator can replace the filter 168 with a new filter 168a (see FIGS. 5 to 8).
[0097]
Then, in step S106, it is determined whether or not printing is completed. If printing is determined not to be completed, the process returns to step S102, sequentially repeating the following steps.
[0098]
Thus, the printing method of the present invention is a printing method performed by using the printing apparatus 1, a printing step for printing, during the printing process, as the predetermined condition, the pressure difference between the pressures P1 and P2 based on the [Delta] P, and a switching step of switching between the ink 100 passes any of the flow path of the first branch channel 163 and the downstream channel 162.
[0099]
According to the printing method of the present invention, it is possible to continue one filter print even if clogging of the filter 168 and filter 169. It can be printed efficiently be prevented.
[0100]
Incidentally, in the above, based on the pressure difference ΔP between the pressures P1 and P2 as the predetermined condition, there has been described a case where the switching operation is not limited thereto in the present invention, for example, the cumulative operating time of the printing apparatus 1 or it may be performed switching operation based on the discharge amount of the ink 100.
[0101]

FIG. 10 is a partially enlarged schematic view of an ink flow path provided in the second embodiment of the printing apparatus of the present invention, a view showing a state where the ink is flowing down the first flow path is there. Figure 11 is a partial enlarged schematic view of the ink flow path printing apparatus comprising shown in FIG. 10 is a diagram showing a state where the ink is switched to flow down the second flow path. Figure 12 is a partial enlarged schematic view of an ink flow path provided in the printing apparatus shown in FIG. 10 is a diagram showing a state in which replacing the first filter to a new filter. Figure 13 is a partial enlarged schematic view of the ink flow path printing apparatus comprising shown in FIG. 10 is a diagram illustrating the supply of ink to the first flow path.
[0102]
Hereinafter, a description of a second embodiment of the printing apparatus of the present invention with reference to this figure focuses on the differences from the embodiment described above, it omitted the same matters will be described.
This embodiment, except for the configuration of the ink flow path is different is the same as the first embodiment.
[0103]
In the printer 1A shown in FIGS. 10 to 13, the ink flow path 16 is replenished passage 20a and the replenishment flow path 20b, the waste drain path which is connected to the first branch channel 163 and a second branch channel 164 and a 20c and disposal passage 20d.
[0104]
Replenishment passage 20a connects the the reservoir 11 shown in FIG. 1 and the first branch passage 163. The replenishment flow path 20a is to refill the ink 100 in the first branch passage 163. Replenishing passage 20b connects the the reservoir 11 shown in FIG. 1 and a second branch channel 164. The replenishment flow path 20a is to refill the ink 100 in the second branch channel 164.
[0105]
Disposal passage 20c is connected to the first branch channel 163. The waste flow path 20c is configured to discharge the ink 100 in the first branch channel 163. Disposal passage 20d is connected to the second branch flow channel 164. The waste flow path 20d is configured to discharge the ink 100 in the second branch channel 164.
[0106]
Replenishment passage 20a and the waste drain path 20c is connected to the first branch flow channel 163 via a valve (not shown), communicating and non-communicating is controlled. Replenishment flow path 20b and the waste drain path 20d is connected to the second branch flow channel 164 via a valve (not shown), communicating and non-communicating is controlled.
[0107]
Incidentally, the waste flow path 20c and the waste drain path 20d has a suction pump (not shown) is provided, able to discharge the first ink 100 of the branch channel 163 and the second branch channel 164 by sucking it can.
[0108]
Next, the operation of the printing of the printing device 1A.
First, as shown in FIG. 10, the printing apparatus 1A, and performs printing using a first branch channel 163.
[0109]
Then, as shown in FIG. 11, when the clogging in the filter 168 has occurred, it performs printing by switching from the first branch channel 163 in the second branch channel 164. Then, the ink 100 remaining in the first branch passage 163 is discharged through the waste liquid flow path 20c. Thus, the first branch passage 163, air and will, when performing the replacement of the filter 168 shown in FIG. 12, the ink 100 can be prevented or adheres to hands, to spills.
[0110]
After replacement of the filter 168 and filter 168a is completed, as shown in FIG. 13, to replenish the ink 100 in the first branch passage 163 via the replenishing flow path 20a. Thus by keeping the first branch flow channel 163 during the use of the second branch channel 164 filled with ink 100, even clogged the filter 169 of the second branch channel 164, first anytime it can be switched to one branch channel 163.
[0111]
In particular, the filter 168a of the new article, there are air into the micropores, in the state where air is present, shows a tendency to trapping force of the foreign matter is decreased. Further, shown when air is discharged from the nozzle 131, the tendency of the print quality is degraded. In the printing apparatus. 1A, filled with ink 100 in the micropores of the new filter 168a, i.e., by previously discharging air, along with the trapping force of the foreign matter can be prevented from being lowered, reduced print quality to be able to prevent.
[0112]
