Process For Manufacturing An Aqueous Hydrogen Peroxide Solution

Abstract: A process for manufacturing an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution comprising the following steps: - hydrogenating a working solution which comprises an alkylanthraquinone and/or tetrahydroalkylanthraquinone and a mixture of a non-polar organic solvent and a polar organic solvent; - oxidizing the hydrogenated working solution to produce hydrogen peroxide; and - isolating the hydrogen peroxide, wherein the polar organic solvent is 5-methyl-2-isopropylcyclohexanecarbonitrile (C11F).
