Specification

-2-Field of Invention:
The present invention relates to Process for preparing instant hair pack for revitalizing hair and scalp.
Prior Art:
In the market various lotions/chemicals are available which claim revitalizing hair and scalp. However, such lotions/chemicals do not achieve the desired results in that same have side effects pertaining to skin problems. Furthermore, none of these available lotion/chemicals can be used instantly as a hair pack and therefore, commercially same are not viable.
It has therefore been a long-felt need to develop such a hair pack for revitalizing for hair and scalp which not only overcomes above disadvantages but is ecofriendly to skin and scalp and to hair and is cheaper to make and economically viable.
This and other objects of the present invention have been achieved by the instant hair pack for revitalizing hair and scalp of the present invention.
According to the present invention there is provided Process for preparing instant hair pack for revitalizing hair and scalp which comprises:
(i) preparing herbal extract as herein described;
(ii) preparing of Kera Herb mixture 11 as herein described;
(iii) autoclaving the mixture of Step (i) and Step (ii) on the same day;

We shall now describe the present invention in detail, which is given in stage wise: Stage: 1 (Preparation of Aqueous herbal extract)
All the herbs are cleaned well and cut into small pieces before being used. Weighed as per the formula quantity and are immersed into hot boiling water and soaked well The required quantities of preservatives are to be added. The vessel to be left as such in loosely closed condition, for at least 8 to 14 hours, preferably overnight. Filtered through a 80 - 120 mesh nylon cloth and also through a sparkler filter or a suitable clean, dry, sterilized filter bag. The loss of water is made up by adding the required amount of previously boiled and cooled DM water. Add the required quantity of Aloe vera powder extract. This aqueous herbal mixture is stored in a clean well closed SS / HDPE container. This herbal mixture is to be used within 20 - 24 hours.
Stage: 2 (Preparation of Kera Herb mixture 11)
All the 11 herbs are cleaned well and cut into small pieces before being used. Weighed as per the formula quantity and are immersed into hot boiling water, the herbs are soaked well and preservatives added. The vessel to be left as such in loosely closed condition, for at least 8 to 14 hours, preferably

overnight. Filtered through a 80 - 120 mesh nylon cloth and also through a sparkler filter or a suitable clean, dry, sterilized filter bag. The loss of water is made up by adding the required amount of previously boiled and cooled DM water. This aqueous herbal mixture is stored in a clean well closed SS / HDPE container. This herbal mixture is to be used within20 - 24 hours.
Stage: 3
Both the filtered herbal mixtures of Stage 1 & Stage 2 are to be Autoclaved at 12 to 16 lbs pressure for 25-35 minutes. The Autoclaving to be done on the same day the batch being produced.
Stage: 4
Weigh the formula quantity of Multani matti which has been previously sieved through a sieving machine fitted with an SS 80 - 120 mesh sieve. Mix well with a portion of DM water and pass the total material through a suitable colloid mill until a homogeneous paste like material is obtained. This mixture is to be prepared a couple of hours before being incorporated in the batch. Stage: 5
The balance formula quantity of DM water, is taken in a suitable gel preparation kettle, along with the other water phase ingredients, Poly ethelyn glycol 1500, Cationic conditioner, Structure XL, D panthenol, Methyl paraben and Tulsi paste. Heat the total material with constant stirring up to 75 - 90° C, transfer the material into a suitable mixing SS kettle (fitted with an high speed homogenisor and an effective mixing system, SS jacket for heating and cooling) after straining the same through a 80 - 120 mesh nylon filter cloth. Start the homogenizer and the mixing. Add the formula quantity of polymer/thickener gradually in to the mixer.

-9-Stage: 6
Simultaneously weigh the formula quantities of materials consisting of Cetostearyl alcohol, Emulsifying wax (nonionic), Liquid paraffin, Dimethicone, Bis (C13-15 Alkoxy) PG Amodimethicone, PEG/PPG-15/15 Dimethicone, Brij 721, Grape seed oil and Propyl paraben. Melt the total material in a suitable melting kettle to around 75 - 90° C, with slow speed stirring. Add the heated oil phase of Stage 6, into the mixing kettle containing the hot water phase, after straining through a 80 - 120 mesh nylon filter cloth, ensure that the temperatures of both phases during addition is above 75 - 85° C. Continue homogenizing. At about 65-85° C, add the Multani matti paste and a formula quantity mixture of Dl panthenol, Panthenyl ethyl ether & Glycine gradually, Stop the homogenizer after about 10-20 minutes. Continue mixing and scrapping at 15-25 RPM speed. Start cool water circulation when the temp of the mass is about 55 - 70°C, add the formula quantities of Almond oil and Jajoba oil, continue mixing and scrapping. Add the formula quantities of Sodium lactate and Cyclopentasiloxane, dimethiconol (CM 1000), at about 50 - 70°C. followed by the autoclaved herbal extracts Continue mixing.
Add the formula quantities of materials of Soya protein and DM water, at about 50 - 60° C. Stop cool water circulation and run chilled water circulation Continue mixing. At around 40 - 50°C add the required formula quantities of Preservative and Menthol, Perfume and Lemon oil. Mix well. At about 25 -35°C, the total material is milled in a colloid mill until a smooth fine homogeneous glossy paste like material is obtained. Drop the batch into clean sanitized SS storage vessels or clean HDPE plastic vats properly closed.

- 10-
Stage: 7
The bulk storage vats / vessels containing product of present invention is stored in a place away from excessive heat and moisture.
