Process For Producing Low Concentration Gel Using Gel Precursor Clusters And Gel Obtained By Said Production Process

Abstract: [Problem] To provide a gel which can be produced in a short time, has controlled properties such as modulus and expansion pressure, and has a low polymer concentration. [Solution] A process for producing a polymer gel in which gel-precursor clusters have been crosslinked with one another to form a three-dimensional network structure, characterized by comprising a) a step in which monomer or polymer units that are present in a concentration less than a critical gelation concentration are crosslinked to form the gel-precursor clusters, the gel-precursor clusters having a storage modulus G" and a loss modulus G" which satisfy the relationship G"

Specification

0001] The present invention relates to novel polymeric hydrogel. Background technique [0002] Recently, polymer gel having a network structure, since it has the superior water retention capacity and characteristics of biocompatibility, etc., studies embedded in a living body as artificial tissue and regeneration scaffold materials have attracted attention (Non Patent Document 1). However, polymer gel, in water for thereby expanded by decomposition by osmotic and aging, etc. resulting from the difference in concentration of gel inside and the outside environment, there is a problem of causing tissue compression failure around embedded . [0003] Such inflation pressure is proportional to the square of the polymer concentration constituting the gel, the effect of swelling particularly remarkable when high polymer concentrations. Even increased degree of cross-linking in order to reduce the swelling ratio, to become the crosslinked by aging is disconnected, reducing the concentration of the polymer is an essential solution. However, if the tissue damage due to swelling would reduce the polymer concentration to a level that does not cause, in the conventional method of manufacturing a polymer gel it has been difficult to create in a short time the gel. Further, low polymer concentration, in case of forming a gel in the region near the gel point, since the physical properties such as elastic modulus changes dramatically, it is difficult to control the physical properties thereof. Means for Solving the Problems [0006] The present inventors have found that the object of to solve a result of extensive studies, intentionally gelling verge state, gel precursor clusters storage modulus more G 'has a loss modulus G "less than state forming a, by using as a seed in the subsequent gelation reaction, the gel precursor clusters is highly functional as a gelling easily polymer unit a short and low polymer concentration of the gel with controlled physical properties It found that it is possible to obtain, and have reached to complete the present invention. [0007] That is, the present invention is, in one embodiment, (1) A process for producing a polymer gel gel precursor clusters form a crosslinked to a three-dimensional network structure to each other, a) the critical gelling concentration than monomer process unit or polymer unit by crosslinking to form the gel precursor clusters, wherein the gel precursor clusters have a relationship of ' "
