Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparation of compounds of Formula I, where in RI is C1-C4 alkyl, or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. (Figure Removed) Formula I More particularly, the present invention relates to novel intermediates useful for the preparation of compound of Formula I. The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of (S)-Clopidogrel.
