Process Of The Preparation Of E 1 Grade Resin
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of polymer chemistry. Particularly, the present invention relates to a process of the preparation of E-1 grade resin. Adding formaldehyde; adding urea; adjusting pH to 8.5 to 9 and temperature at 90 C for 1 Hr.; adjusting pH to 4.8-5 with an acid and determining end point; adjusting pH value to 7.5 to 8 NaOH and adding urea; maintaining temperature to 70-80ºC or 40 min and then decreasing to 60-70ºC; adding urea in the reaction mixture at 60-70ºC for 30 min and then adjusting pH at 7.5 to 8; and cooling at room temperature to obtain the E1 grade resin.
