Abstract: The present invention discloses the system of project planning in construction using augmented reality technology. The all data from databases is inputted to application. The user opens the application of project planning via smart phone or tab or in case of AR smart glass, user just wear smart glass. Hold the design of project in front of AR enabled device. User can see the 3-dimensional model of project with indoor and outdoor environment.

, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to the field of computer graphics, and more specifically, to a method and system for project planning in construction using augmented reality technology.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In Construction sector, project planning is the specific process where construction managers use to lay out, how they will manage and execute a construction project, from designing the structure to ordering materials to deploying workers and subcontractors to complete various tasks.
It is so lengthy process, which includes subcontracts for completion of project.
The project planning phase is a crucial step that must be completed prior to breaking ground. During this phase, construction company will plan, analyze, and establish the anticipated needs and hurdles for construction project. Planning includes all parties involved; owners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
Armed with this vital information, clients can be well informed about the necessary arrangements that will lead to a functional and financially viable project.
Currently project planning is only drawing of project or its small demo model.
It gives outline of future work. But it happens that after completion some points are missing or added.
The present invention suggests the solution to above problems. It suggests the project planning in construction using augmented reality technology.
Augmented reality (AR) is a type of interactive, reality-based display environment that takes the capabilities of computer-generated display, sound, text and effects to enhance the user's real-world experience.
Augmented reality technology has ability to provide real-time information. Also Augmented reality technology increase efficiency, improve safety, streamline collaboration, manage costs, and overall boost project confidence.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is, project planning in construction using augmented reality technology.
Another object of the invention is, AR (augmented reality) enabled devices are needed (such as smart phone with high definition, AR headset).
Another object of the invention is, drawing of project should be ready.

The present invention discloses the project planning in construction using augmented reality technology. The system and method comprising of:
The 2-dimensional drawing of project should be ready. Augmented reality technology can produce 3-dimensional model for 2-dimensional drawing. Combined with 3-dimensional model and building information system construction companies can produce detailed, interactive models of building projects. This can be useful to show the project to the client. AR also allows construction team to conduct walkthroughs of the entire project before it is executed, closely examining the details and components of the structure. This foresight can prevent schedule delays, reduce cost overruns, and identify any mistakes before they surface.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Fig 1 shows flowchart of the method and computer program for this invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the project planning in construction using augmented reality technology.
The present invention system is comprising of contents such as;
Databases – contains data of various system.
Systems such as BIM (Building information management), work scheduling, resources allocation, outdoor environment, indoor environment, facilities management
Any AR enabled device such as smart phone or tab or smart glass
3-dimensional augmented reality authoring environment
By taking all data from databases as input, the 3-dimensional augmented reality authority environment system creates 3-dimensional model on AR enabled device such as smart phone or tab or smart glass.
The present invention implemented in a combination of both hardware and software.
The present invention system is comprising of;
Step 1) The all data from databases is inputted to application
Step 2) The user opens the application of project planning
(or in case of AR smart glass, user just wear smart glass)
Step 3) Hold the design of project in front
Step 4) User can see the 3-dimensional model of project with indoor and outdoor environment
This is general overview of system. System is not bounded to this only.
Augmented reality has the potential to revolutionize mobile shopping by bringing products to life in front of you through 3D models that you can size up, examine from all angles, and even place in the environment around you.
Here by using this invention construction team and also client can see how the project will look actually after completion. User can zoom in or zoom out the image to see the project minutely.
It helps client to see how the project would look with the planned scenario.
The advantages of the invention presented is as follows;

Example 1: Suppose after designing designer feel that place of window should be changed. By using the invention designer can see is the place of window ok or not? So, decision change can not affect financial loss.
Example 2: If a construction team want to show the client project. By using the invention client can better understand the project. And definitely the chances of purchasing would increase.
