Protective Garment

Abstract: This protective garment is provided with a pair of sleeve portions and a body portion. One sleeve portion out of the pair of sleeve portions is provided with a portion A for covering the elbow joint of the wearer's right arm when the protective garment is being worn; the other sleeve portion is provided with a portion B for covering the elbow joint of the wearer's left arm when the protective garment is being worn; and the body portion is provided with a portion C for covering the wearer's pectoralis major muscles when the protective garment is being worn. The protective garment includes a first fabric that has an air permeability of 30 cm3/cm2/second or greater, and a second fabric that has a stiffness of 80 mm or less. The first fabric is arranged in the portion C and has a layer structure of a first spunbond nonwoven fabric and a first melt-blown nonwoven fabric; and the second fabric is arranged in the portion A and the portion B and has a layer structure of a second spunbond nonwoven fabric and a second melt-blown nonwoven fabric.
