Quick Install Irradiation Unit And Method Of Making Same.

A quick-install irradiation unit (10) for irradiating a surface includes a mounting bracket (18) that accepts a housing (16) connected to a frame (14) for supporting an ultraviolet lamp (26), with a reflector (28) or a lens (100) for focusing the radiation on the surface. The housing secured to one end of the frame contains a drive motor (58) and a cam assembly (60,62), which oscillate the reflector, so that the radiation is focused on a predefined area of the surface at any given time. The unit can be quickly installed in any orientation on practically any flat surface (124, 126).
