Abstract: A radar device (2) comprises a signal reception unit (21) that acquires a reception signal for transmitted waves that have been transmitted from a transmission antenna (4), a transmission signal acquisition unit (22) that uses a transmission signal acquisition antenna (6) to receive transmitted waves that have been transmitted from the transmission antenna (4) and acquires a received reception signal as a transmission signal replica, an unnecessary signal suppression unit (23) that suppresses an unnecessary signal in the reception signal acquired by the signal reception unit (21), a cross-correlation calculation unit (24) that calculates a cross-correlation value between the transmission signal replica and the reception signal that has had the unnecessary signal therein suppressed, and a beam formation unit (25) that uses cross-correlation values corresponding to multiple transmission signals to form a beam and estimate a target direction.
