The demand for various activities such as detecting drunk drivers, preventing drunk driving fatalities and accidents by automatically turning the ignition on or off based on the status of the driver, sending alerts and location updates to necessary contacts, and safety-related reasons, has increased. In order to provide a framework for choosing the most effective techniques for advancing future breakthroughs related to AI and the automotive industry, this article evaluates those many applications and compares their benefits, drawbacks, and formulations. Additionally, the combination of this system with other devices like smart steering, automatic driver counting, and other vehicles results in a complete elimination of drunken driving-related accidents and fatalities.

Proposed innovation performance measures for the proposed AI and ML architecture on the datasets with/without the augmentation process, clearly showing that the performance measure results are better on the augmented dataset in terms of the achieved accuracies for measure for status of driver before staring vehicle. The adopted AI and ML techniques increased the accurate the quality measurement, and finally, helped the model achieve better performance metrics and improved its overall testing accuracy. This revolution makes a mark on automobiles as well police and government sector to relax on the day to day and weekend drunken driver tests and check posts, use their valuable time on other crime activities.

While similar experiments have been conducted in previous studies, the resulting test accuracy was unacceptable. Therefore, there was a need to design a new architecture and techniques to improve the results and get accurate results. Figure 2 and 3 shows simple view of the proposed architecture for the proposed Al and ML methods for better quality drunken driver detection.

The proposed Al and ML structure which consists of four layers, including two convolution layers for feature extraction, with convolution window sizes of Artificial Intelligence in drunken driver detection.

Modern applications of artificial intelligence in the whole sector include achieving significant reductions in the downtime, reducing consumer friction at the point of sale, speed up of manual tasks, and improving worker overtime ratio to name a few.
Some of the researchers have been done research on alcohol detection. Some of the authors proposed methodologies as mentioned, existing designs describes alcohol detection for vehicle by using AT89S51 microcontroller and MQ-3 sensor for alcohol detection as main component.
