, Description:TITLE OF THE INVENTION
Re-use water collection and storage device
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a re-use water collection and storage system, more particularly in a water purifier where in the said device comprises an automatic control based storage system to conserve recycled water.
OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
It is the objectives of the present invention to provide a new and improved water conservation system whereby available water supplies are more judiciously utilized.
It is another objective of the present invention, wherein the water collection and storage system provides an effective solution to address the problems of water wastage in purification systems.
It is another objective of the present invention, wherein the water collection and storage system can be easily configured to existing water purification systems for conservation and recycling of water.
Further objective of the invention, is to develop a water saver kit with an automatic control based storage system to indicate the consumer to use the water stored in said device.
Yet another objective of the invention, to develop a water saver kit with automatic control wherein the said automatic control will resume the flow of water RO based the purification system automatically once the reject water is manually removed from the kit.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Water purification system is one of the essential household systems in use these days. Presently available purifying systems in the market are based on ultraviolet radiation technology and/or halogen resin technology coupled with reverse osmosis (RO) membrane technology. Advantages of the above referenced water purifying modules serve to achieve a specific purification, and are based on the total dissolved salts (TDS) of the water. Among all these purifying technologies Reverse Osmosis (R.O) based technology is one of the most successful due its ability to remove molecules and ions (calcium, magnesium, sodium ion, chloride ion, copper ion) including bacteria from water.
However, one major disadvantage associated with RO based the water purification systems, during process of purification is that considerable amount of water is consumed to remove salts deposited on semi permeable membrane of RO system which is further eluted as reject water or recycle water. It has reported that, approximately 40-60% water consumed by the Reverse Osmosis purification system is ejected as the reject water.
It is a commonly known fact that, water is a rapidly depleting natural resource. Hence, it is necessary to develop alternatives to save such precious natural resource. A wide variety of water conservation devices is currently available on the commercial market and an even larger number of these types of devices are known in the art of water conservation devices. However, these devices do not provide an interconnected device to the existing water purification system that helps address the problem of conserving the reject water.
Therefore, a need exists for a new and improved water conservation device having operationally interconnected elements for providing a means for capturing reject water generated from a drain of a fresh water purification apparatus operationally connected to a fresh water source and a means for recycling the captured reject water.
Hence, the primary objective of the present invention is to develop a device/system whichsaves reject water in R.O. based purifying systems.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses a re-use water collection and storage system which is attachable to the existing reverse osmosis based purification system, wherein the said system comprises an automatic control system and a pressure tank to receive the reject water. Further, the said automatic control system comprises electronic circuit with indications which shut off once the said pressure tank has completely stored with reject water by sensing the water pressure difference between pressure tank and the water purifier. The shut off indication of the pressure tank stops the flow of water entering into the purification system and hence directly control the water purification process.
In addition, the said water saver kit, resumes flow of water entering into RO based water purification system once reject water is manually drained from pressure tank. Optionally, the said pressure tank is attached with disinfectant cartridge to remove bacteria from the said water.
The water saver kit of the present invention further comprises additional features including faucet and kit that can be installed to any existing water purifier
The water obtained from pressure tank is further used in various domestic purposes such as but not limited to be watering plants, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and sinks.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Figure 1: Illustrates re-use water collection and storage system connected to Reverse Osmosis based water purification apparatus
