[0034] In few embodiments of the invention, the critical angle i.e. the lean angle of motorcycle at or above which the device according to the present invention alerts the rider of the motorcycle is dependent on the type and the speed of motorcycle.
[0035] In some embodiments of the invention, the critical angle is calculated performing linear regression analysis model with lean angle (represented as Y herein after) being dependent variable and speed (represented as X herein after) being an independent variable. The regression analysis is performed using the below formula Y = aX + b, wherein ‘a’ is the X variable coefficient and b is the intercept coefficient.
[0036] In an embodiment of the invention, the critical angles are calculated using the regression model for Bajaj Pulsar 200NS, variable coefficient a= 0.61142 and intercept coefficient b= 0.6. The results are tabulated in table 1
Table 1
Speed(km/h) Angle(degree)
10 7
20 14
30 18

50 32
60 38

[0037] The alert device according to the present invention alerts the rider, for example at the lean angle approximately 23 ° or above, when the motorcycle is at a speed of 40 km/h.
[0038] In another embodiment, the critical angles are calculated using the regression model for Honda Activa, where the variable coefficient a= 0.58714and intercept coefficient b= -1.1333. The results are tabulated in table 2

[0039] The real-time alert device of the present invention after manufacturing was put into validation tests including checking the critical angle for different vehicles. The motorcycle attached with the device was made to go on different road types and also turnings with different banking levels to check whether it shows accurate results. The alerts were accurate in all the cases for all tested types of vehicles.
[0040] The real-time alert device according to the present invention is able to predict and alert the driver beforehand with almost no delay in real time, and thus avoiding accidents. The device negates unwanted alerts such as vibrations caused due to bad road conditions, has advantage in terms of simplicity of the entire device, accurate alert above a critical angle, rigidity, easy maintainability, low cost to make, user friendly, and does not need any skill level to maintain the device.
[0041] The real-time device according to the present inventions alerts the motorcycle real time i.e. without delay, thereby avoiding accidents, injuries to the rider or driver and/or collision with other vehicles on the road.
