WE CLAIM:
1. A system for real-time monitoring of usage of tools / dies, comprising:
a. a wireless sensor node (11) attached with said tools / dies wherein said
wireless sensor node (11) includes,
i. a wireless communication chip integrated with said sensor
node (11); ii. a movement sensor (2) to detect movement of said tools /
dies; and iii. a microprocessor (3) integrated with an algorithm to collect
and analyze said movement information.
b. a display device with an application to display the usage count progress; and
c. a cloud application (14) to store said usage count progress with time stamp
for analytics.
2. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein said wireless sensor node (11) operates in Bluetooth communication range.
3. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein said movement sensor (2) is accelerometer or gyroscope.
4. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein said algorithm is a movement detection algorithm.
5. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein said display device is a smartphone (12) or a handheld device.
6. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein said display device provides information on production progress of components made by said tools / dies and information on life of said tools / dies.

7. A method for real-time monitoring of usage of tools / dies, wherein the method comprising the steps of:
a. placing a wireless sensor node (11) on said tools / dies;
b. detecting the movement of said tools / dies using movement sensor (2);
c. translating said movement of said tools / dies into usage count progress
using an algorithm implemented in microprocessor (3) placed inside said
wireless sensor node (11);
d. transmitting said usage count progress to a display device through said
wireless communication chip;
e. receiving said usage count progress by said display device;
f. providing visual indication of said usage count progress in said display
device;
g. sending said usage count progress along with tool / die identity and time
stamp to cloud application (14) through said display device; and
h. storing said usage count progress in cloud application (14) for analytics.
