DESC:[001] The present subject matter relates to a real time system to protect the overcharging and over discharging of battery of the electric vehicle. Particularly it is relating to a system to protect the overcharging and over discharging of the battery of electric vehicle in the real time manner.
[002] The existing technologies does not have feature of real time protection system to protect the over-charging and over-discharging of traction batteries. The data predicts that 0.1-volt difference of over charge or over discharge may have significant impact on battery life.
[003] The present subject matter solves the aforementioned and other problems by providing a real time protection system to protect the over-charging and over-discharging of traction batteries.
[004] In one embodiment, the present subject matter discloses a system to protect the overcharging and over discharging of the battery of electric vehicle in the real time manner comprising vehicle management unit to monitor the battery performance and adjust the limit of maximum charge and minimum discharge voltage values in real time continuous manner to enhance battery life of the electric vehicle (EV) traction batteries.
[005] Another embodiment, it discloses the method of manufacturing the system to protect the overcharging and over discharging of the battery of electric vehicle in the real time manner comprising vehicle management unit to monitor the battery performance and adjust the limit of maximum charge and minimum discharge voltage values in real time continuous manner to enhance battery life of the electric vehicle (EV) traction batteries.
[006] The system to protect the overcharging and over discharging of the battery of electric vehicle in the real time manner is having is battery charge voltage limit changes with time and battery discharge voltage limit changes with time.
[007] The vehicle management unit continuous monitor the battery performance and adjust the limit of maximum charge and minimum discharge voltage values in real time, which helps to enhance battery life of the electric vehicle (EV) traction batteries.
[008] The uniqueness of the present subject matter is battery charge voltage limit changes with time and battery discharge voltage limit changes with time.
[009] It enhances the life of the battery.
[0010] Although the present disclosure is described in terms of certain preferred embodiments and examples, other embodiments and examples will be apparent to those of ordinary skill in the art, given the benefit of this disclosure, including embodiments and examples that do not provide all of the benefits and features set forth herein, which are also within the scope of this disclosure.
