Rear Bracket Assembly For Wheel Speed Sensor Mounting (Wss)
Abstract: This invention is concerning to automobiles. The primary function of this invention is to Clamp, Route and hold the WS sensor on fixed location as per the desired orientation and clearances with nearby components. This Bracket will hold sensor with grommet type arrangement at rear axle tube and rear suspension region. The newly invented Bracket design secures the routings in all aspect. The 10 bracket gives easy accessibility for the user (on production line) for installation of routing. The design of Bracket with three legs. Provided two mounting holes on legs is for Grommet. The bracket bolted to the rear suspension rebound bracket. The new design of bracket will carry WSS to LH & RH Side on rear axle Because of this new design of bracket we will reduce the part count, tact time on assembly 15 line and also reducing the cost of process by 90% compared to existing practice used in Production line
