Abstract: The novel ceiling fan assembly an inbuilt remote controlled telescopic lowering system, consisting of a compressible and extendable pipe of aluminum, attached to the ceiling with a winch full of wire rope held firmly by the bearings, shaft, and with remote operated motor, where the ceiling fan is fixed at the bottom of the pipe with the hook as illustrated in Figure 1. When cleaning is required, the fan is brought down remotely, by extending the pipe, in a default non-working condition, and in a default working condition when the pipes are compressed.

DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
Field of the invention
[0001] The present invention relates to ceiling fan assembly. More particularly the invention relates to a Ceiling Fan Assembly with a Remote Controlled inbuilt telescopic lowering system
•
Background and the 'prior art'
[0002] Ceiling fan cleaning, is one of the challenges in a dusty environment. The easiest way to clean a ceiling fan without a ladder is by using an extendable duster with a flexible head. There are various types of ceiling fan dust cleaners available, like Flexible Microfiber Cleaning Duster Brush, Fan Cleaning Brush and Long Rod, Feather Magic Dust Cleaner with Extendable Rod for Ceiling Fan. For fans with irremovable grates, they are cleaned by compressed air, Spray the air onto the grate and the blades to quickly clean off the dust. The current techniques are not efficient for removal of dust and is cumbersome. The objective of the current invention is to address these shortfalls.
Summary of the invention
[0003] The present embodiment of the invention showcases a simple mechanism whereby the cleaning can be done easily. The novel ceiling fan assembly consists of a compressible and extendable pipe of aluminum, attached to the ceiling with a winch full of wire rope held firmly by the bearings, shaft, and with remote operated motor, where the ceiling fan is fixed at the bottom of the pipe with the hook. When cleaning is required, the fan is brought down remotely, by extending the pipe, in a default non-working condition, and in a default working condition when the pipes are compressed.
Detailed Description of the Invention with drawing
[0004] Figure 1: The fan assembly as shown in the drawing, in two views, can be attached to the ceiling, where necessary. The portion marked (1) is the ceiling clip for fixing fan assembly to the roof. (2) shows shows the roof plate. The C frame of metal shown in the drawing has a hole on both sides, which acts as a housing for the winch with wire rope, bearings, shaft and the motor. (3) shows
the wheel assembly, without the wire Rope. (4) shows the wheel shaft. The section A-A of the wheel shaft is housed with the bearing, winch and the motor assembly. (5) shows the steel wire. The steel wire rope indicated in the main assembly, used on the winch is connected to the bottom of the pipe, to extend or retract the pipe/telescopic down rod mechanism for cleaning of the ceiling fan. (6) shows the bearing bush. The ball bearing bush is attached to the winch shaft. (7) shows the motor. It can be seen mounted on the winch shaft, which operates remotely, to move the pipe up and down for fan cleaning. (81 shows the support plate. It is the metal plate attached to the C frame for holding the pipe. 9,12,14.16 and 18 shows the extrusion pipe. The aluminum pipes of five different sizes with grooves and locks, for easy sliding, and non-rotational, pipe no. [18] has a slot to connect the wire of the fan to the pin. 10.11(a&b).13(a&b),15(a&b)17(a&b) shows the plastic bush with lock. They are plastic pipe connecters and lock, connecting different sized pipes and enabling, non rotation of the pipes, for smooth fan, movement, up and down. 19 shows the pipe lock. It is the standard lock hook to attach the fan at the bottom of the pipe. 20 shows [a] The electrical pin and [b] socket. It is to enable default working and non working of the fan, for safety, during up and down position of the fan.
[0005] As shown clearly in the diagram, the ceiling fan assembly is fixed to the roof, along with the winch full of wire rope with bearings, shaft and motor, assembly. Attached to this assembly, is the pipe of aluminum, with liners and lock, to enable for smooth movement of pipe up and down with the hook at the bottom end of the pipe to fix the ceiling fan the assembly fixed to the ceiling including the pipe, varies from 300-500mm in length and extends to the required length as per the height of the roof, the ceiling fan fixed at the bottom end of the pipe, can be remotely brought down or up, for proper cleaning and working of the fan, the fan assembly by default stops while coming down and vice versa
Claims:
We claim,
1. A ceiling fan assembly with an inbuilt remote controlled telescopic lowering system, comprising of a compressible and extendable pipe of aluminum, attached to the ceiling with a winch full of wire rope held firmly by the bearings, shaft, and with remote operated motor, and where the ceiling fan is fixed at the bottom of the pipe with the hook.
