PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
The following specification describes the invention

This invention relates to a resilient base of pump motor assembly.
The present pump motor assemblies normally carry casted or sheet metal feet bellow motor for erecting the motor on RCC OR PCC platform with rubber feet packing for taking care of vertical misalignments & gaps which may exist at the inlet and outlet piping flanges. This is nothing but a floating assembly of the pump motor on the RCC OR PCC rigid base with lot of bolting making the assembly of pump motor at site laborious.
Since this type of assembly do not take care of lateral misalignment that is mis alignments in the plane of pipe flanges mating face some times assembly may be difficult producing lot of stress at piping joints and motor pump assembly components. Further since rubber feet packing re use is not possible due to problems like compression set and breakages sometimes reassembly becomes more difficult with use of incorrect rubber packing use.
An object of the invention is to provide a resilient base pump motor assembly which eliminates the motor casted feet rubber packing/feet by having sheet metal base carrying springiness in vertical plane and possible required twist in lateral plane for assurance of assembly under all circumstantial site components variations.
Another object of the invention is to provide a resilient base pump motor assembly eliminates the pump motor assembly mounting hardware and simplifies the commissioning and erection of pump motor assembly at site.

Another object of the invention is to provide a resilient base pump motor assembly which reduces the packing box size resulting into cost reduction as the resilient sheet metal base is modular and can be packed above the motor.
Another object of the invention is to provide a resilient base pump motor assembly which improves the looks of the products without disturbing present cooling and electrical regulations.
Another object of the invention is to provide a resilient base pump motor assembly which increases the clearance between motor outermost periphery and ground making motor cowl assembly possible after pump motor assembly commissioning and after checking that fan rotates properly.
Another object of the invention is to provide a resilient base pump motor assembly which makes possible motor mounting on motor fins by eliminating motor casted feet.
According to the invention there is provided a resilient base pump motor assembly comprising a sheet metal resilient base i.e. base carrying springiness in vertical plane and required possible twist in lateral plane and a pump motor assembly.
In accordance to the present invention, the rotating arrangement can be made of casting, molding, protrusion or any other method or means

In accordance to the present invention a resilient base of pump motor assembly comprises sheet metal resilient base carries grooves of size slightly over sized than the motor fin cross section and a pitch distance same as the fins at the bottom of motor.
In accordance to the present invention a resilient base of pump motor assembly, pump motor assembly gets fitted onto pipe carrying flanges first ensuring that the pump motor assembly is just above the RCC or PCC base or any other base with some clearance of the order of some couple of centimeter
In accordance to the present invention a resilient base of pump motor assembly, sheet metal resilient base is inserted below the motor, taking advantage of springiness in vertical plane for taking care of unpredicted size, gap between motor and ground and clearance between the grooves on the resilient base and motor fins for taking care of unpredicted lateral misalignments if any present in the complete assembly.
In accordance to the present invention a resilient base of pump motor assembly, the resilient sheet metal base as appose to casted feet with rubber packing feet carry naturally more height which makes motor fan cowl assembly with motor possible after the pump motor assembly is commissioned.
In accordance to the present invention a resilient base of pump motor assembly, the resilient base is separate and not a integral part of motor can be packed above the

motor making product packing box size reduction possible achieving marginal cost reduction.
