Claims:We Claim:
1) A restaurant ordering system based on internet of things (iot) comprising of;
a. Selecting the desired food menu through a touchscreen panel with a LCD display;
b. Reading the input from touch screen panel with the help of microcontroller and sending the data to LCD display;
c. Sending the data to the wireless transmitter and displaying the bill on LCD;
d. displaying customer order on computer interfacing;
e. receiver unit for displaying order in particular format;
2)The restaurant ordering system based on internet of things (iot) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said system can take printout of the bill if required by the user by selecting the option to get the printout.
3) The restaurant ordering system based on internet of things (iot) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said system is with a Touchscreen with LCD display of touch screen panel with dimensions as 55mm x 70mm and thickness is 1.5mm.
4) The restaurant ordering system based on internet of things (iot) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said system with Computer interfacing is used for viewing the order given by customer by the person/chef in the kitchen.
, Description:FIELD OF INVENTION:
The present invention relates to intelligent service restaurant system. The present invention more particularly relates to a restaurant ordering system using IOT .
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
As the pace of life and people's living standards improve, more and more people choose to eat in restaurants. Many people now regard the major holidays such as New Year's dinner at a selected restaurant. The quality of catering services is also growing and competition has turned to efficient management of service quality from the original taste of dishes, food prices.
As we all know, the quality of customer service in a restaurant with dishes such as time restaurant, efficiency, service call and security have an important relationship. Traditional dishes such as customer ordering system prevailing time uneven, restaurants cannot in a timely manner to each customer to send dishes, the call is not timely, convenient ordering and low coefficient of safety issues and a restaurant.
on the market now are also some restaurants system, at the same time, after a patent search, there are some cases ordering system and take advantage of some of the modern system technology. However, these existing technologies do not have the sort order cook function, the lack of security monitoring to the restaurant, the restaurant cannot be truly intelligent.
Many times in hotel we have to wait for a waiter to give our order for food. This creates problem when there is rush in hotel especially in festival seasons and generally on weekends. All the existing system is traditional and lack of use of technology, therefore the process is very time consuming and lengthy. This also creates a problem of proper account keeping tracking the income on a time-to-time basis.

So there is a need for a restaurant ordering system. The present invention is a Multifunctional restaurant service system based networking technology, to make cooking order, using the wireless communication technology and ordering call attendant function, using GPRS technology automatic ordering system, using a wireless sensor network Restaurant security implementation monitoring. The use of the present invention is significantly improve restaurant service quality and management efficiency. The present system not only reduce labor costs, but also improve the restaurant's service quality, increase its revenues.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
An object of the present invention is to provide a restaurant ordering system and intelligent sorting system.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a GPRS technology automatic ordering system, using a wireless sensor network Restaurant security implementation monitoring.
Yet another object of the present invention is to improve restaurant service quality and management efficiency and reduce labor costs, improve the restaurant's service quality, increase its revenues.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a food ordering system with Hassle free ordering of food and to order food rapidly and To make it convenient for people who have limited time.
Other objects and benefits of the present invention will be more apparent from the following description, which is not intended to bind the scope of the present invention.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
Accordingly, a restaurant ordering system using IOT is disclosed. A restaurant ordering system based on internet of things (iot) comprising of;
a. Selecting the desired food menu through a touchscreen panel with a LCD display;
b. Reading the input from touch screen panel with the help of microcontroller and sending the data to LCD display;
c. Sending the data to the wireless transmitter and displaying the bill on LCD;
d. displaying customer order on computer interfacing;
e. receiver unit for displaying order in particular format;

Fig 1 is the flowchart for restaurant ordering system using IOT.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention is a restaurant ordering system using IOT. The present invention provides a GPRS technology automatic ordering system, using a wireless sensor network Restaurant security implementation monitoring. The present invention helps to improve restaurant service quality and management efficiency and reduce labor costs, improve the restaurant's service quality, increase its revenues. It reduces customer’s time for waiting. So customers don’t have to wait for the waiter to take the order. Thus it saves the time. It is users friendly and fast.
In one embodiment, a touchscreen panel with a LCD display is provided on every table. Whenever customers come to their table then they will select the desired order menus from the touchscreen. For example: suppose users have selected menu no 1,5,3 so on and once he/she is done then he/she can press enter/confirm key. At this time information will be sent to the kitchen of the hotel. All this information will be displayed on a computer display or computer interfacing. A wireless RF transmitter is used at the customer table side and wireless RF receiver at the kitchen side. So orders are directly sent to the kitchen and users don’t have to wait for the waiter and at the same time LCD will display the total billed amount directly to the user. This helps to reduce the cost, the orders of the hotels are fixed and can be displayed under the one touch screen. with the help of printer, users can immediately get printout of the bill. If the users want printout then he/she can select the option to get the printout.
In another embodiment, the system of the present invention comprising of Touch screen, LCD display, RF transmitter, RF receiver, Buzzer and PC interfacing:
1) Touchscreen: resistive type of touch screen panel is used. Dimensions of touch screen are 55mm x 70mm and thickness is 1.5mm. This touch screen has various layers inside. Whenever any person touches this resistive screen then it gives variable analog voltage. We can use our fingers or any stylus to give the input to touch screen. We have divided the screen into multiple parts by drawings row and columns on the paper placed under touch screen..
2) LCD display: LCD display is used to show a various messages to users. These various messages are like project title or the project name, then the message like “Please select the menu”. Once the user has selected various option then the LCD will display the menus you have selected are option 5, option 9, option 2, Please press enter to confirm. And once the user has pressed enter key, the LCD display customer’s order is confirmed and has been sent to the hotel kitchen unit.
3) Micro controller: Micro controller perform following various operation:
i) Reads the input from touch screen panel
ii) Calculates the exact location where touch was applied
iii) Finds menu from these co-ordinates
iv) Sends the data to LCD display
v) Sends the data to wireless transmitter
vi) Calculates the final bill amount and displays on LCD.
4) Computer interfacing: Computer interfacing is used so that the person/chef in the kitchen can view order given by customer. The present invention use HyperTerminal software on the computer. Terminal software will be provided in CD as well. User can use this software to view the orders placed through the touch screen panel. It simply display the option like table no. X has order A,B,C and D .

Applications:
1. Touch screen based Wireless ordering can be used in hotel for the customers and customer can give the order immediately.
2. users are not allowed to enter inside library. In this case if any user needs books then he/she has to give book names to the librarian. Then librarian finds out the books and gives it to user. In such situations, the present invention is used by the users of library. They can select books they want to order and they can press confirm button. Then the books information are displayed on the computer of the librarian.
In another embodiment, The menu is displayed on the LCD.
• User should press the corresponding number of the selected item from the display.
• It is written in such a way that one can select 3 items at a time. In real time one can use EEPROM of the microcontroller to store the menu.
• Items are selected using keypad provided. For example in order to select “1. Ice cream” press 1 one from the keypad. Similarly select your items and press ‘#’ .
• Pressing ‘#’ will transmit the order to the receiver.
