BACKGROUND
[002] Disposable absorbent articles such as traditional tape-type diapers, training pant, sanitary napkins, etc. have been previously used to provide security from leakage of excretory fluids. In order to contain the discharge of excretory fluids effectively. Conventionally used cloth diapers predominantly do not perform at par with single use diapers. Most single use diapers are made of unsustainable material such as, cellulose, polypropylene, polyethylene and a super absorbent polymer, such material may cause irritation, discomfort and even infections to the wearer when overused. Also, conventional single use diapers come with a difficult fastening mechanism, which makes it difficult for wearer to put on by themselves. Most diapers come with a tape mechanism that makes it even a tedious task for a caregiver to apply the diaper to a wearer by own because in requires for the wearer to be laid on the bed so that the diaper can be fastened on the wearer.
[003] Also, single use diapers come in various sizes based on body size of wearer. However, due to fast growing speed of infants, the size of single use diapers to be selected may change within months and making it difficult to task to track size of diaper. Also, parents often struggle with aligning and securing these flaps onto the diaper wings, causing frustration especially as the babies grow and become active and start to move, walk, or run. Further, the caregivers are often end up selecting single use diapers over reusable ones due the ease of discarding the single use diapers and neglect selection of unsustainable material and the complexity of design.
[004] Therefore, there is a requirement for a simplified design and reliable reusable garment with better design that ensures ease of usability and provides comfort to the wearer.

Further, three rows and two columns of first set of stud/male fasteners 302A, 302B are arranged on a front side 304 of the front section 102. In this system, the reusable garment 100 may be adjusted in size both along the length and the waist by fastening different columns of the first set of female/cap fasteners 118A, 118B to different columns of the first set of male/stud fasteners 302A, 302B. Accordingly, the same reusable garment 100 may be used without requiring buying different sized diapers as the wearer’s body size changes such as when an infant grows older in age.
[026] Now when in use, the reusable garment 100 may easily be adjusted along the waist and the body section 106 by securing any of the first set of cap/female fasteners 118A, 118B arranged in any of the two columns to any of the two columns of the first set of stud/male fasteners 302A, 302B in order to increase girth "D” of the reusable garment 100.
[027] As can be seen in FIG. 3B, all of the three rows and two columns of first set of cap/female fasteners 118A, 118B are fastened to the three rows and two columns of first set of stud/male fasteners 302A, 302B arranged on an outer surface 304 of the front section 102. Further, the stretchable sides 122 may form the leg cuffs 301 of the reusable garment 100 that may snugly fit onto the inner thigh area of the wearer and may expand in size based on the size of the wearer.
[028] FIG. 3C illustrates a back view 300C of the reusable garment 100 assembled in a pullable pant-configuration, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. The outer portion 306 of the second set of male fasteners provided on the inner layer 115 of the body section 106 to secure the absorbent pad 202 in the pocket 108 are shown on the outer surface 308 of the rear section 104. As explained earlier, the outer surface 308 of the reusable garment 100 may be made up of a polymer-based waterproof material.
[029] Further, for ease of application or use of the reusable garment 100 in the pullable pant-configuration and for adjustment of the size based on size of the waist size of the wearer, the girth “D” of the waist of the reusable garment 100 may also expand based on expansion of the elasticated sections 114A, 114B of each of the respective side flaps 110, 112. FIG. 4A depicts the reusable garment 100 having girth "L1” when the elasticated sections 114A, 114B of each of the respective side flaps 110, 112 are in relaxed state. FIG. 4B depicts the reusable garment 100 having girth "L2” when the elasticated sections 114A, 114B of each of the respective side flaps 110, 112 are in stretched state. Thus, in addition to adjustment of the waist size by fastening some of the first set of cap/female fasteners 118A, 118B to the first set of stud/male fasteners 302A, 302B, the girth may also be increased from “L1” to “L2” as depicted in FIG. 4A and FIG. 4B based on expansion of the elasticated sections 114A, 114B.
[030] Accordingly, the reusable garment 100 when assembled in a pullable pant-configuration may be worn by a wearer by pulling the assembled reusable garment 100 like a pant. Accordingly, front section 102 may cover an anterior portion of the wearer and the rear portion 104 may cover a posterior portion of the wearer when in the assembled pullable pant-configuration. Further, the side flaps 110, 112 may be secured around the waste region of the wearer when in the assembled pullable pant-configuration. Thus, the assembled reusable garment 100 in pullable pant-configuration may provide a secure and comfort fit to the wearer, without deviating from the meaning and scope of the present invention. The outer layer of the reusable garment 100 may be made up of a polymer-based waterproof material to prevent moisture leaking out from the reusable garment 100 and provide a dry feel to the wearer. In an embodiment, example of the polymer-based waterproof material may include but not limited to thermoplastic polyurethane, that creates a waterproof barrier which prevents moisture from leaking out of the reusable garment 100.
[031] Further the inner layer may be made of a moisture-wicking cotton-based material that keeps the moisture away from the body of the wearer by fast absorbing the moisture and also let the air pass through to maintain dry and cool feel. In an embodiment, the example of the moisture-wicking cotton-based material may include but not limited to micro fleece, that helps in maintaining the stay-dry lining for diapers. Being a cloth material, the micro fleece inner layer does not cause any rash or irritation to the wearer body and provide a comfortable experience. Further, the cloth material provides feasibility to reuse the garment after cleaning or washing like other clothes.
[032] Moreover, the pullable pant-configuration of the reusable garment 100 enable easy sliding on and off while changing of the reusable garment 100. This easy pulling up provides pant-like comfort without any discomfort of tapes and opening of buttons.
[033] Further, the leg cuffs 301 of the reusable garment 100 may also expand in size from "R1” as shown in FIG. 4A to "R2” as shown in FIG. 4B based on expansion of the stretchable sides 122. This may facilitate in aligning the legs of the wearer inside the reusable garment 100 to wear it like a pant. The stretchable leg cuffs 301 may provide a snug fit and ensuring no opening or loose area around the legs of the wearer to contain the body fluids without letting it spread on the outside.
[034] Thus, the reusable garment 100 in an assembled configuration pullable-pant configuration may be put on the wearer by simply pulling up like pants because of the elasticated sections 114A, 114B that stretches according to the size of the wearer while putting on and easily glides over the body expanding to fit the waist region of the wearer’s body. The leg cuffs 301 hugs the legs comfortably, allowing the full body movement and also ease the problem that comes while wearing any such diaper.
[035] The reusable garment 100, particularly designed as a reusable diaper, represents a significant leap forward in diapering technology, offering lots of benefits and innovations over traditional disposable options. Firstly, the garment's design streamlines the changing process, simplifying it to a pant-like experience due to its flexible waistband. Unlike conventional diapers that often require the wearer to lay down, this garment allows for effortless changing experience, reducing hassle for parents or caregivers. The incorporation of elasticated sections and fastening mechanisms in the side flaps 110, 112 that facilitate a customizable fit, catering to wearers of different sizes. This feature, combined with the stretchable central area forming leg cuffs 301 that ensures a snug and secure fit, effectively containing body fluids without leakage or discomfort.
[036] Moreover, the garment's cloth material ensures reusability after washing, aligning with eco-conscious practices, and reducing the environmental burden caused by disposable diaper waste. This feature not only promotes sustainability but also makes it suitable for extended usage, such as during travel or overnight periods, enhancing convenience for caregivers.
[037] Additionally, the garment's pocket design allows for easy insertion and removal of absorbent pad 202, further enhancing convenience during changing. This feature, along with the ability to detach and replace soiled absorbent pads, promotes hygiene, and prolongs the garment's usability.
[038] Overall, the reusable garment represents an advancement in diaper technology, offering a sustainable, user-friendly, and hygienic solution for caregivers while prioritizing wearer comfort and convenience.
