DESC:TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure generally relates to a reusable sanitary underpant. In particular, present disclosure pertains to a wingless sanitary pad placed within the underpant to absorb bodily fluids of a wearer.

BACKGROUND
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] For many years, females are dealing with a situation that comes naturally to them after a few years from birth. The situation, which is a monthly occurrence of a painful and distressed state in body of a female is termed as menstruation cycle or periods or menses. In addition to be considered as a social taboo, menses happens to be more painful and embarrassing than they physically are for a female, and this is considered to be a social stigma in few parts of the world where females are restricted to live their lives freely and without any fear once these biological changes start occurring. Although women have dealt with menstrual flow in many different ways throughout the ages, even till date, most women are using old and unhygienic methods for dealing with their menses or with any other kind of fluid discharge from their body because of monetary issues, improper education, or unawareness about their hygiene. Concerns are raised when majority of the women and girls have no access to clean and safe sanitary products or have access to a clean and private space to change menstrual cloths or pads and to wash. Poor menstrual hygiene caused by practices such as reusing old cloths or using sand, leaves or sawdust to absorb menstrual blood, which dramatically elevates the rate of cervical cancer. In hygiene study, it is found that reusing cloths increases the risk of serious cervical problems by 2.5 times when compared with when clean clothes or sanitary pads are used.
[0004] However, there has been little progress towards non-disposable or launderable absorbent underpants or materials keeping in mind the needs of the different users across the world. A hygienic absorbent underpant can be capable of preventing leakage or staining to the clothes because of body fluid flow.
[0005] Existing sanitary pads, underpants and other products (like tampons and cups) are available in market to tackle issue of body discharges that can include e.g., perspiration, menstrual flow and other vaginal discharges, urine and fecal discharge, salivation and nasal discharge, lactation in nursing females, nocturnal discharge etc. However, these available products are expensive and not reachable to maximum female population. The factors that majorly effect the reachability of these products to the females in all parts of the world other than awareness and proper education is the cost, complexity in method of use and durability of the product for a longer period.
[0006] There is therefore a need in the art to make sanitary pads, underpants and other products cost effective (i.e. cheaper and affordable), comfortable, easy to use, hygienic, highly durable, washable, waterproof and flexible sanitary underwear and pad. Sanitary products designed for repeated use without compromising performance and supporting the well-being of both the female and the environment.
