Reversible Concrete Mixer Assembly 1050
Field of the invention
The present invention relates to a concrete mixer assembly, and more particularly, to a modified reversible concrete mixer assembly which has less weight and more
stability.
Background of the invention
As the construction activity increases day by day and also there is a time binding for each activity, it is necessary to use modern sophisticated equipment, which meets the desired output. Conventional motorized reversible concrete mixer assembly comprises a hopper, a water tank for supplying water for preparing the concrete mix and a revolving mixing drum to mix the raw material received from the hopper. The reversible mixer is a machine, which is used to mix the raw material required for making concrete. Basically during forward rotation the raw material i.e. aggregates, sand, cement and water gets mixed, and during reverse rotation mixed material i.e. concrete is discharged. The mixing drum revolves with the help of electrical or diesel prime mover.
However, the current reversible concrete mixer assembly includes a chassis manufactured in mild steel channel and angle, which is conventional way of manufacturing due to which the reversible concrete mixer assembly looks bulky, and gives less stability to the concrete mixer assembly. Further, the current reversible concrete mixer assembly is comparatively heavy due to conventional raw material and more fabrication is involved in manufacturing the same. Furthermore, the manufacturing time involved is more, and more labor is required. Moreover, a twin roller assembly is fitted on the chassis assembly due to which setting of twin rollers takes extra time and is difficult.
Accordingly, there exists a need to provide a reversible concrete mixer assembly which overcomes all the drawbacks of the prior art.

Objects of the present invention
An object of the present invention is to provide a reversible concrete mixer assembly which is less bulky.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a reversible concrete mixer assembly, which require less time to manufacture and cost and labour required is also less.
Summary of the invention
Accordingly, the present invention provides a reversible concrete mixer assembly comprising:
a chassis assembly forming a base;
a 'U' shaped frame configured on the chassis assembly;
a mixing drum with gear ring assembly supported on the 'U' shaped frame;
a front jack leveling assembly for providing support and level to a front of the chassis assembly;
a rear jack leveling assembly for providing support and level to a rear side of the chassis assembly;
a 'L' frame assembly providing support to the 'IT frame;
a roller assembly mounted on the 'LT frame for reducing the friction of the mixing drum assembly while rotation thereof;
a water tank with a scale bar for storing and measuring water;
a dosing tank assembly used for admixture storage;
a dosing pump mounting bracket is used for mounting dosing pump assembly; and
a hopper assembly for measuring the aggregates separately, characterized in that

the chassis assembly is made of tubular section for providing more stability, and the 'IP frame is made in semicircular shape which gives good quality of fabrication and ease of production.
Brief description of the drawings
Figure 1 depicts a perspective view of a reversible concrete mixer assembly, in accordance with the present invention.
Detail description of the invention
The foregoing objects of the present invention are accomplished and the problems and shortcomings associated with the prior art, techniques and approaches are overcome by the present invention as described below in the preferred embodiments.
The present invention provides a concrete mixer assembly which is less bulky. Further, the reversible concrete mixer assembly requires less time to manufacture and cost and labour required is also less.
The present invention is illustrated with reference to the accompanying drawings, throughout which reference numbers indicate corresponding parts in the various figures. These reference numbers are shown in bracket in the following description.
Referring now to figure 1, there is shown a perspective view of a modified reversible concrete mixer assembly 1050 (100) (hereinafter 'the assembly (100)') in accordance with the present invention. The assembly (100) comprises a chassis assembly (1), a front jack leveling assembly (2), a rear jack leveling assembly (3), a mixing drum with gear ring assembly (6), a 'U' frame assembly (7), a roller assembly (not shown), a 'L' frame assembly (8), a water tank with scale bar assembly (9), a centrifugal pump cover assembly (10), a dosing tank assembly

(11), a dosing pump mounting bracket (12), a hopper assembly (13), and a carrying assembly (14).
The chassis assembly (1) forms the base for the assembly (100). The chassis assembly (1) is configured with 'LP shaped assembly (7) thereon which provides support for the mixing drum assembly (6). The improvement in the chassis assembly (1) comprises that the chassis assembly (1) is made of tubular section which gives more stability to the assembly (100). The carrying assembly (14) is attached to the chassis assembly (1) for carrying the assembly (100) at desired location. In an embodiment, the chassis assembly (1) is provided with a plurality of pneumatic wheels (4) attached thereto for movement thereof.
Further, the front jack leveling assembly (2) provides support and level to a front side of the assembly (100) during operation, and the rear jack leveling assembly (3) provides support and level to a rear side of the assembly (100) during operation.
Furthermore, the 'IP frame assembly (7) provides support to the drum assembly (6). The improvement in the 'IP frame assembly (7) is that the 'IT frame assembly is in semicircular shape which gives good quality of fabrication and is easy for production. In an embodiment, the *U' frame assembly is made in 2-8 mm thick which gives more rigidity to the drum assembly (6). The 'L' frame assembly (8) provides support for the 'LP frame assembly (7).
The roller assembly (not shown) of the assembly (100) is mounted on the 'LP frame assembly (7) for reducing the friction of the drum assembly (6). In an embodiment, the roller assembly is a twin roller assembly. The twin roller assembly includes two roller assemblies, each roller assembly having one roller on the top portion and one roller at the bottom portion thereof. The bottom roller of the both roller assembly supports the mixing drum (6) thereon. The twin roller assembly helps in easy and smooth rotation of the drum assembly (6). The mounting of the twin roller assembly on to the 'IP frame assembly (7) reduces the

misalignment of the twin roller assembly. In an embodiment, the twin roller assembly is fitted in formed section of 3-6 mm thick plate.
The assembly (100) also includes a water tank (9) with a scale bar for storing and measuring water. Further, the centrifugal pump cover assembly (10) protects a centrifugal pump (not shown). Furthermore, the dosing tank assembly (11) is used for admixture storage and the dosing pump mounting bracket (12) is used for mounting dosing pump assembly (11). Moreover, the hopper assembly (13) is used for measuring the aggregates separately. In an embodiment, the centrifugal pump, the twin roller assembly are rotated by an electric motor (5) configured in the assembly (100).
Advantages of the present invention
1. Tubular section used for chassis assembly (I) and all structural part gives more stability to the assembly (100).
2. The weight of the assembly (100) is reduced due to modified structure and toeing arrangement is simplified due to reduction of weight.
3. The twin roller assembly is fitted on to the ;U; frame assembly (7) reduces the misalignment of the twin roller assembly and setting time with ease. Also, simplicity in manufacturing due to improved design, production lead time is reduced.
4. Accuracy in design assembly simplified results in reduction of vibrations during working.

5. The 'U frame assembly is in circular shape which gives good quality of fabrication and is easy for production.
6. Due to improved design fabrication cost is drastically reduced and aesthetic look of the product is improved to a great extent.
The foregoing descriptions of specific embodiments of the present invention have been presented for purposes of illustration and description. They are not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the present invention to the precise forms disclosed,

and obviously many modifications arid variations are possible in light of the above teaching. The embodiments were chosen and described in order to best explain the principles of the present invention and its practical application, to thereby enable others skilled in the art to best utilize the present invention and various embodiments with various modifications as are suited to the particular use contemplated. It is understood that various omission and substitutions of equivalents are contemplated as circumstance may suggest or render expedient, but such are intended to cover the application or implementation without departing from the spirit or scope of the present invention.
