Abstract: In today’s world, women’s cleanliness or hygiene is very important and to be taken care of by them. Women in India are still afraid or shy of buying napkins from outside shops, medical, and other stores. A permanent solution to this particular problem by installing a napkin dispensing system in different places like schools, colleges, and public places. The existing coin-operated dispensing system has many drawbacks because it lacks sanitization, and needs to have a coin to utilize it. Usually, all college students and companies’ employee ID cards will be RFID ID cards. So we came up with a new concept in which we will install sanitization and wrap up the cover and it can be accessed by using RFID ID cards.
Description:[0005] The different parts of the system:
FIG 1 consists of 1 - RFID scanner, 2 – Display, 3 - Coin Slot, 4 - Push Button, and 5 – Outlet slot. The RFID scanner (1) is connected to the Display (2) through a microcontroller and the Coin slot (3) and Push button (4) are connected through a microcontroller. Outlet slot (5) will activate based on the signals from the microcontroller.
FIG 2: - 6 - outer covering, 7 - Pad Container, 8 - Container lid, 9 - UV light generator, and 10- Dispensing track. The pad container can be accessed by the Container lid from the top. The UV light generator (9) is controlled by the microcontroller which activates when the pad is being dispensed. The pad from the pad container (7) falls into the Dispensing track (10).
The pad dispenser machine will be operated using either RFID or Coin and then pressing the push button. The 2 ways to use the machine are: -
1. The person needs to keep the RFID card on the RFID scanner (1), after the RFID is placed on the RFID scanner (1), the RFID scanner (1) will send signals to the Microcontroller and it validates the RFID card and all the details about the user will be displayed on the screen such as Name, Balance, and Previous transaction. Once the details are Visible the user can select the number of pads to be dispensed and press proceed on the Display (2).
2. The person needs to put an Rs. 5 coin in the coin input slot (3), as it passes through the coin slot and the microcontroller will validate the coin. Once the coin is validated, the user needs to press the push button (4) on the system.
Once the dispensing process starts, the microcontroller will send the signal to the pad container and it will open so that the pad will fall into the dispensing track.
As the pad falls into the dispensing track (10) the UV projector will start emitting UV lights throughout the Dispensing track (10) and sanitize the track and also the Pad.
Once the Pad falls into the track the it will pass through the track and will be available at the output slot. As the pad reaches the output slot the Disposal cover will also be available at the Output slot
, Claims:1. A system for the RFID-based Automated Sanitary Pad Dispenser comprises:
a RFID scanner (1) configured with the microcontroller
a Coin input slot (3) configured with the microcontroller
an Outlet slot for Pad and Disposal cover
a button relative the coin input slot
a Display relative to RFID scanner
an UV light projector
2. A system for the RFID-based Automated Sanitary Pad Dispenser as claimed in claim 1, wherein once the Coin is validated, the user can proceed with the dispensing by pressing the button.
3. A system for the RFID-based Automated Sanitary Pad Dispenser as claimed in claim 1, wherein the RFID card is once validated, the user can proceed with the dispensing by entering the number of pads to be dispensed in the display.
4. A system for the RFID-based Automated Sanitary Pad Dispenser as claimed in claim 1, claim 2, and claim 3, wherein once the pad is dispensed, the disposal cover will also be released through the Outlet slot.
5. A system for the RFID-based Automated Sanitary Pad Dispenser as claimed in claim 1, wherein a UV light projector (9) is implemented throughout the dispensing track (10) which continuously emits the UV light and carry out the sanitization process.
