Abstract: A common problem faced by organisations that requires the management of a large number of desktops and laptops is keeping record of their usage as well as unauthorised access by users. Our inventions aims to provide a simple solution to this problem with the help of an RFID Based Windows Access Control that allows its user to only give access to limited persons with the help of RFID Cards and record login and logout times with the help of cloud computing. This eases database management as well as prevents unauthorised access.
Description:The figure 1 is the circuit diagram of how will the esp module and the RFID module will be connected to the pro micro inside the main HUB.
The pro micro is connected to each computer using the data cable. The computer will act as a power source. The main hub has a hole for the data cable
The figure 2 is the block diagram of the main HUB the hub contains a pro micro and a bidirectional multiplexor.
The figure 3 represents the data transfer will take place in the HUB .The hub will receive data from the module and will transfer the data to the Application.
The figure 4 shows how the data will be displayed in the mobile screen of the super user. It will display the time for which the system is used and the log time. , Claims:We Claim:
1. That our invention is the first of its kind in RFID Based Access Control
2. That, as mentioned in Claim 1 it will ease the management of large number of desktops.
3. That, as mentioned in Claim 1 it will reduce the risk of unauthorised access
4. That, as mentioned in Claim 1 it is an Arduino IDE and Firebase Based Programme
5. That, as mentioned in Claim 1, access authority can be stored in a RFID Card
6. That, as mentioned in Claim 1, it stores and passes information through Cloud Computing
7. That, as mentioned in claim 1, it manages access to Windows devices
8. That, as mentioned in Claim 1, it allows the user to have full authority over his or her desktops
