"Rolling Mill Slitting Apparatus"

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for subdividing an elongated product moving axially along a pass line. The apparatus comprises at least one pair of rotatably driven slitting discs arranged in a coplanar relationship on opposite sides of the pass line, with their rotational axes being offset one from the other in the direction of product movement.
