Abstract: This rotor core is provided with a plurality of holes in which permanent magnets are installed, wherein: in a cross section perpendicular to a rotational axis, at least one of the plurality of holes includes a first end portion positioned on a leading side in a direction of rotation, in a left-right direction which is the direction of both left and right sides with respect to a magnetization direction of the permanent magnet, and a second end portion positioned on a trailing side in the direction of rotation in the left-right direction; the first end portion opens in an outer circumferential surface, and a length of the opening in a circumferential direction is greater than a length of the second end portion in the circumferential direction; in the cross section, the hole that opens at the first end portion has an inside space the length of which in a width direction is equivalent to a length corresponding to a length of the permanent magnet in a magnetization direction, and a first outside space which communicates with the inside space, includes the first end portion as an end portion of the hole in the left-right direction, and is wider than the inside space; and the first end portion is arranged offset toward the trailing side in the direction of rotation relative to a central position, in the circumferential direction, of the inside space at the position communicating with the first outside space.
