"SCRATCH AND VIEW HOLOGRAPHIC HIDE AND TWO TIER HOLOGRAPHIC TAMPER EVIDENT LABELS" AND THE PROCESS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME.
PRS Solutions Private Limited, a Company incorporated under the Companies Act,1956 and having its office at 63, Bombay Samachar Marg, Mumbai - 400 001 Maharashtra State, India, India.VThe following specification particularly describes the nature of this invention and the manner in which it is to be performed

FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
Invention relates to Scratch And View Holographic Hide And Two Tier Holographic Tamper Evident Labels And The Process Of Manufacturing The Same. The said "Tamper Evident Labels" have holographic image on one side or on both the sides. The labels also have added security features like viewing a hidden security message or device or Jpgo or number or sign or pattern after removal of top layer of metallisation. This message or device or logo can be printed with ink invisible to normal eye or ink having one color which appears of different shade when viewed under ultra-violet radiation. The higher degree of security is also provided by adding additional features like having second holographic image on the other side of the film. The image underneath is a reverse image and top layer has a readable image. Thus, making the label readable from top side of the label. The label has two holographic images on its either side. -
Such unique labels provide an end customer with benefits of 'seal of guarantee", protect the value of the brand / franchise and prevent the "Counterfeiters" from deliberate reuse of such labels/decals which otherwise would spoil the image of brand owners and save huge losses occurring to them due to counterfeiting.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART:
Conventional holographic labels consists of thermoplastic film like polyester, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, coated with vacuum deposition of a very thin coat of Aluminium metal to get metallised film. The metallised surface is embossed to get a holographic film. The holographic film is adhesive coated on the non embossed side to get holographic label.
Viewing hidden security message after removal of metallising layer, printed ink message appearing of a different shade under UV light & adhesive layer getting destructed from the label in a pre-determined pattern when peeled from the applied

substrate are some of the features incorporated in the present labels and not seen in conventional holographic labels.
INVENTION:
This invention consists of two different types of labels:-
(a) one label having a holographic hide consisting of a single holographic image and a top layer of metallisation which hide the image. The actual image is readable only after scratching or removal of the metallised layer and
(b) another label having two tier holographic images- one readable from topside and the other one which is reverse image, which will be readable only after removal or scratching of top readable holographic image.
Both the labels being described in details as hereunder:-
The concept of adding higher and higher degree of security with increasing additional features making a complex tamper evident system can be achieved by :-
(a) holographic hides in which the holographic image is evident only after scratching/ peeling top peelable layer.
The label consists of the thermo plastic film that is a rigid polymer to provide a stable backing material for processing and it does not react with the subsequent coats and inks, which are printed on it. This film can have thickness ranging from 0.012 to 0.1 mm. The said film is coated with a release material using known methods. The said release material consist of thermoplastic resin dissolved in suitable solvent. The said release material doesn't have affinity with the thermoplastic film but has good affinity with adhesive system and hence goes with the adhesive layer when peeled off leaving behind a message, device, logo or systematic pattern laid while applying the same. The said film is then coated on second / opposite side with the said release type of material. This both side release material coated film described above is then subjected to aluminium coating done by vacuum coating technique, using known methods in

two separate steps on either sides. This aluminium-coated film is then embossed with reverse image (so as to be readable from top) on one side, using holographic master and known methods.. The said film is then coated on holographic image side with suitable pressure sensitive adhesive using known method and dried online using drying tunnel and laminating with suitable release liner such as silicone paper or siliconised polyester film alternatively a dried adhesive lamina coated separately using similar method and "transfer adhesive tape" can be applied to the Holographic Reverse image side of this film. The said adhesive coated film is then slit to desired size and printed on the non holographic i.e. plain aluminised side using regular flexographic inks. The labels thus produced act as a security tool in a manner that when the said labels are scratched from plain aluminium side it will leave behind a specific holographic pattern which is otherwise not visible.
(b) a two-tier holographic labels showing one image as a normal view and another invisible image which is evident only after removal of normal visible holographic image. Thus, adding authenticity to the security labels/decals.

side of metallised film using holographic masters and known method. The said film is then coated on reverse holographic image side with pressure sensitive adhesive using known method and dried online using drying tunnel; and laminating with suitable release liner such as silicone paper or siliconised polyester film, alternative a dried adhesive lamina coated separately using similar method and machine referred as "transfer adhesive tape" can be applied to reverse holographic side of the film. The above adhesive coated film is then slit to desired size and printed from the readable holographic image side using regular fiexographic printing inks. The labels thus produced act as a security tool in a manner that when the said labels provide one holographic image as visible from top and second holographic image is seen only after scratching the top image, thus, it forms a unique two-tier holographic security label.
The label acts as a tamper evident labels.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
Invention provides a "Guaranteed" tool to various industries manufacturing, selling, marketing their products, components, parts, assemblies and users of such manufacturers products, instruments such as energy meters etc. to safe guard their brand or avoid duplication and counterfeiting and thereby protecting their brand image and simultaneously achieve monitory savings by means of stoppage to counterfeiting. The application details/construction of the invention will become more apparent from the descriptions of schematic diagram shown below:-
