Seal For A Housing Of A Plug Type Connector And Housing For A Plug Type Connector
Abstract: The invention is related to a seat (1) for a housing (25) of a plug-type connector with an annular seal body (3) and with at least one mounting projection (9) and to a housing (25) for a plug-type connector. In order to provide a seal (1) and a housing (25) for a plug-type connector which allow a secure mounting of the seal, which avoid damages of a seal during assembly, and which allow a space-saving and slim design of a connector, it is intended according to the invention, that at least one mounting projection (9) projects from the body (3) of the seal (1) in an axial direction (A) and in that at least one mounting compartment (35) from the housing (25) for receiving at least one mounting projection (9) of the seal (1) extends further along an axial direction (A) of the housing (25) than an annular sealing section (29) for receiving a seal (1). (Fig. 1)
