Seal Member And Rotary Machine
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to suppress leakage of fluid and suppress a decrease in strength. A seal member (30) is disposed between a rotor (12) and a stator (11) to provide a seal between the rotor (12) and the stator (11). The seal member (30) comprises: a rotating-side member fixed to a surface of the rotor (12) opposing the stator (11); a fixed-side member fixed to the stator (11) and facing the rotating-side member; and a first fin (44) and a second fin (46) which are disposed on one of the rotating-side member and the fixed-side member, the first fin (44) protruding on the opposing surface side, the second fin (46) being disposed on a lower pressure side in a rotating axis direction relative to the first fin (44) and protruding on the opposing surface side. The thickness, in the rotating axis direction, of the second fin (46) at the root thereof is greater than the thickness, in the rotating axis direction, of the first fin (44) at the root thereof.
