Abstract: The present invention relates to a sealing method for a pouch type secondary battery, comprising: a first sealing step of pressing sealing regions of upper and lower pouches in the vertical direction by means of a sealing device; and a second sealing step of moving from the inside to the outside of the pouch while pressing the sealing regions of the upper and lower pouches by means of the sealing device.
