Abstract: The invention relates to a sealing profile (32, 106), in particular for sealing a sheet edge (34, 102) against a surface (38, 104), the sealing profile (32, 106) having an extruded shape with a cross section and a longitudinal extension, wherein the sealing profile (32, 106) comprises a profile foot (42) with a mounting element (44) for mounting the sealing profile (32, 106) onto a sheet edge (34, 102), wherein the sealing profile (32, 106) comprises a profile head (46) for sealing abutment against a surface (38, 104), the profile head (46) being made from a deformable material and extending from the profile foot (42), wherein the profile head (46) and the profile foot (42) together form a sealing body (48), wherein the sealing body (48) forms hollow chamber walls (50) of a hollow chamber (52), and wherein the hollow chamber (52) has lateral edges (70, 72) extending along the longitudinal extension, which lateral edges (70, 72), in the cross section, are arranged opposite to one another and project laterally outwards. The invention further relates to a use of said sealing profile (32, 106).
