Abstract: A secondary battery according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly; and a pouch-type case in which the electrode assembly is embedded and which includes an upper case and a lower case that are heat-sealed to each other. The pouch-type case includes a sealing portion formed along at least a portion of an edge of the pouch-type case and formed by heat-sealing the upper case and the lower case, an electrode lead connected to the electrode assembly protrudes from one side of the pouch-type case, the sealing portion includes a notch portion formed at any one end of the one side from which the electrode lead protrudes, and the notch portion has a curvature that is recessed toward the inside of the pouch-type case.
