Fig. 1 illustrates a secure cabin? for? examination? and sample?collection?of? suspected?infected patients.
This?is a mobile booth with air?tight?aluminum?&?glass?cabin?which prevents the influx of infected?air into the chamber to?minimize?the?risk?of?exposure?to?the?health?care?provider.
Two HEPA filters (0.3 micron) are used - one on the roof and other below the floor of the cabin - to ensure that virus, bacteria and other undesired contaminations do not enter.
The provision of an in built two – way microphone and speaker allows interaction between the doctor and the patient and so routine evaluation or collection of samples can be performed in accordance with the safety norms.
The double layer safety gloves ensures a high standard of infection control and nullifies the risk of the spread of virus especially during oral or nasal swab sample collection. This invariably limits the need for PPEs which are in acute shortage also.
The stethoscope attachment enables auscultation which is most vital to reach a correct diagnosis.
The cabin is completely washable and easy to maintain. Germicidal UV tube that is used for purification of the cabin from inside has been installed that guarantees disinfection of the chamber when the chamber is not in use.
Above all it will provide the much needed sense of security to our frontline health care warriors and boost their confidence to face the challenges of any pandemic like situation.
Following are the main components of the secure booth for examination and sample collection of infection suspected patients,

17. SURGICALGLOVES
18. OUTERGLOVES
19. SANITIZERSTAND
20. SANITIZERBOTTLE
21. SS-PLATFORM/ SMALL TABLE
22. USERMANUAL
General working of invention involves:
1. The suspected individual, whose samples are being taken, has to walk near to the cabin and stand in front of the glass exterior.
2. After thisthe individual is asked to follow the instruction given through a two way communication devices for collection of swab any other sample or for examination.
3. Collection of samples and use of stethoscope (if required) from inside the cabin.
The healthcare worker inside the cabin collects the sample and then, follows the sanitization requirements before taking the next sample. It is noteworthy that the collection process is fully contactless and time saving.
